Well, it's been pieced together using actual pieces of the real blueprint map. You can tell it isn't fully complete though because it looks like there are some sections missing around the city. But this gives us a general idea of the size of the map.

well i wouldnt be doing stuff with prostitutes and he already sees games with shooting and killing,he plays skyrim,lost planet series and mild games,plus the news is full of it.
so yes i am.
there is a difference between shooting someone and while shooting them they are shouting mother****er etc .

also my xbox is in the other room and what i mean is that if he is on the ps3 in the main room or vice versa i didnt want him to hear it.
it also annoys me how much language there is in games,it isnt needed constantly

get a headset. turtle beach has good stuff. i have the ps3 headset and it works wonders for silent only i can hear playing. But honestly your kids probably shouldnt see this game too if hearing cursing is an issue.

I haven't been keeping up (staying away from news). Will there be multiplayer like GTA IV? If so I would rather them do the multiplayer (good vs bad) like the do in APB reloaded.

The multiplayer is called "Grand Theft Auto Online" and it is going to be revealed this month. Rockstar have not said much, but it's supposed to be "very different" from GTA IV. Considering they are calling it "GTA Online" instead of just "GTA V multiplayer" means it must be pretty ambitious.

Am I the only one who looks at that blueprint and thinks "it's not THAT big"... I mean.. It's going to be a great game but by looking at that blueprint it seems like an average size map to me.

I don't you are taking into the consideration the GTA V map is larger than RDR, San Andreas and GTA IV combined. Kind of puts things into perspective.

I thought so too but I think the map is just different from the actual size of the game plus they didnt show like half of the map yet cause rockstar dont want to ruin trailers with spoilers I believe

Look up map size on YouTube. They show a scale example using trailer clips and you'll see that while the map looks small it's actually HUGE

If I'm not mistaken, I believe they speak in terms of horizontally and vertically when it comes to the size of the map.

You can dive deep and fly high, so I think they take that into consideration.

Doesn't matter if that map is real or not... Rockstar has said GTA V's map will be bigger than SA's, GTA IV's, and Red Dead Redemption's all put together, in other words: BLOODY MASSIVE.

I mean, this game will last people a long time. I just hope the story stays good throughout, but I have faith in Rockstar's writers. I tried to re-play San Andreas over the years, and I never finish it because the story becomes stupid and gets boring with all the nonsense that went on. This game is on a much more massive scale, and we've got three characters now, so the possibilities are insanely high.

Definitely gonna pick this up.
