Everyone knows that From Software's Dark Souls is a third-person action RPG. However, a new video allows us to see what a first-person version of the game would be like. The answer: pretty terrible.
Replaying Skyrim after 13 years is a reminder of the progress made in western RPGs over the last decade, but also what's been lost.
RPGs are often huge, sprawling endeavours. With limited playtime, we have to choose wisely, so here's the best western RPGs available today.

I don't know, increase the camera's viewing angle and it just might work. Might have to slow down movement speeds for everything so rolling works without becoming nauseating and I think it would be a winner.
Looks like a really early release of the MOD, but it looks like it would be a lot of fun if they can sharpen it up.
That is so bad. Skyrim's a bit more bearable than that.
The article questions what first person does close up combat well, they need to play Dark Messiah on the PC. Even for how long its been out its still some the best first person combat.
I am so glad that Demon souls/ dark souls weren't first person games.
