NowGamer: "While not nearly as much of an epidemic as Microsoft's Xbox 360 Red Ring Of Death, the PS3's equivalent - the Yellow Light Of Death - has been the bane of many a PS3 gamer this generation.
Thankfully it seems like the PS4 won't suffer from such problems."
Games Asylum: "Well, this is neat. As the name suggests, Wrath of the Mutants is the rarest of things – a genuine arcade conversion. With most modern arcade games being ticket redemption machines, this is something seldom seen. In fact, the last arcade conversion we can recall was Raw Thrill’s own Cruis’n’ Blast on Switch back in 2021. This is also based on an older iteration of TMNT, harking back to the series from 2012-2017. It’s essentially breaking franchise continuity (we’ve had two different iterations of the Turtles since) and could even be considered nostalgic for a select few – those who grew up with 2012’s Turtles are probably in their late teens."
Year 9 in Rainbow Six Siege brings Deimos, ACOG sights with new grips, and an interesting roadmap for the upcoming seasons.
Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is a love letter for all Suikoden fans; it embraces the classic essence and doesn't succumb to modernity.
The PS3 had overheating problems? It got hot but I wouldn't say it overheated.
(I had a YLOD but that was after 4.5 years of constant use. Seems a reasonable time period for a console to die as my laptops barely last 3 years before things start to slow down and go wrong)
Yeah I think both companies should have learnt their lessons now from the YLOD and more importantly, RROD fiasco.
Still, how on earth is the PS4 be cooler yet so slim?! I don't get it lol. I'll just call it magic and leave it at that.
Speculation based on nothing.
PS4 is a beast!
This is great even for speculation since even though the PS3 had a very low failure rate it did have high power consumption parts and got hot and the compound that kept the chips cooler failed and ceroded the solder would melt slightly and the ship may cool off centered resulting in hardware failure RRoD and YLoD. As said in an above comment the console uses alot of low power consumption components as what we know of them anyway, less chance of overheating and cooling tech is way better now than 8-9years ago when those consoles were being made.
