Interesting read. My company is currently at possibly funding development of our next title via Kickstarter as the project is a bit more ambitious than our previous efforts. Seeing what succeeded and what failed makes for interesting reading. Doesn't seem like anything like our new title has hit Kickstarter yet though, so no direct comparisons to draw from there, but still a nicely put together look at what's out there and what's been through the system so far.
