Never got to play Ace Combat6, that game should have never been exclusive. I don't even think it sold well being only on the XBox 360.
So glad Ace Combat 6 and 7 will be backwards compatible on Xbox Series X. I hope both AC6 and 7 will be Enhanced on Series X with HDR and 4k

They need to add more skins, like way more! Also, they should get rid of the time limit and just add two locations: one for refueling/arming, the other appears when the mission is complete so that players can choose to leave or stay and destroy or get as much credit as possible from the remaining enemies.
Ace Combat fans have another reason to rejoice today, as Project Aces and Namco Bandai dropped another hint to the possibility of the series abandoning the unfortunate real world experiment of Assault Horizon and going back to the classic fictional setting Strangereal.
This really is one fantastic ip and this news is some of the best I've read in quite a long while. This is glorious news for fans of the series. Namco Bandai have always done this storyline so well. I just pray that they return to the days where you actually felt a connection to the characters in the campaign, and the writing was such that you felt compelled to move on. I've been waiting for this series to get back on track for a long, long time. With all that said, this is fantastic news!
Yep, Kei Nagase from Ace Combat 5 is one of my favorite characters of all times. Her pensive expressions were just so lovely...
I hope they take that stupid lock the plane in your sights mechanic out that was in the last game.
When this current generation first began - much to my dismay - I learned that AC would not be on the PS3 to continue AC0, I knew there were going to be problems and that's all I'm going to say about that.
That aside, it looks like what I'm reading about Infinity is that NB is returning the "glory days" approach to the writing, direction, content, and scope of the game which on the PS4 should shine like gems if done correctly. Personally, I am super stoked about the prospects.
Love Ace Combat, hope this comes to PS4.
Hopefully, its a step back in the right direction.

Oh dear God. *tears roll* I've been waiting for a proper return to Ace Combat since 2006. Anyone who knows me on this site knows I've been pining for a /proper/ continuation of the Belkan War since AC0. With PS4 being the defacto NG platform this time around my dreams might have finally come true. Now only if Cellius weren't a dream either. Day one.
