RadarPlays - Thrill Kill

GamesRadar - Violence and suggestive content do not a good game make. Few games demonstrate this as profoundly as Thrill Kill, the unreleased PS1 brawler that EA quashed right before release. Oh sure, it's got 4-player fighting, and grisly executions that rival the over-the-top gore of Mortal Kombat's Fatalities. But as Lucas, Tom, and Ryan learn, no amount of controversial content can save a fundamentally terrible game.

Didnt this eventually turn into the 4 player wu-tang clan fighting game. It was actually pretty good if i remember right but it was along time ago

Thrill Kill got canceled and their publisher wouldn't let another publisher release the game so they made the Wu-Tang using the same engine.

I had Thrill Kill on PS1... so I don't remember this being cancelled? I do remember it being banned or something.

Thrill Kill: The Greatest Game Franchise You Never Got To Play

WC - As gamers we often long for franchises that stop producing games before we were happy to let them go. Whether it be because the story simply came to an end like in the case of Time Splitters, or because the series was no longer considered financially viable, resulting in some truly phenomenal game series having their flame blown out far too soon (such as Heavenly Sword or War of The Monsters). We mourn for these old loves of ours, desperately clinging to the hope that they may one day return despite knowing in our hearts that it will never happen.
