Loved the original. It would be nice if this one turns out good.

Dunpeal3939d ago

too much irony if they fail to adequately bring back a game titled Flashback

The original was AWESOME. I still remember some levels passwords like "melord" and "Bubble". Man, this brings back the old good memories.

I have zero faith in the execution after how bad that remake was.

Doesnt need a sequel.

Snookies121086d ago

I was so excited for the remake too... I loved the original so much. Maybe they can prove us wrong, but after the remake I don't have any real expectations for this either.

MadLad1086d ago

Yeah.
Highly doubt they're going to catch lightning in a bottle twice.
It was very much a product of it's time. Unless they have some real talent, we're going to end up with a disappointing, needless sequel.

However, for those of you who have never played the original, Flashback Mobile offers a somewhat different experience.

This game was cutting edge on debut. I want to think I may have had this on 3DO, can’t remember. Maybe SegaCD.
