I say no. I love Tennis video games, but I just don't see the point of having it yearly based.
I'm almost completely sure this type of sport would quickly fatigue itself if it did one release every year. But it's certainly financially possible considering how little actually goes on when playing Tennis.
It's not like you need to simulate a massive field or hockey rink with all those players/physics collisions, etc, and across hundreds and hundreds of different players.
The main necessary upgrade in a tennis game would be AI, courts, and ball/racquet physics.

Financially possible since it'd be cheap, but would fatigue very quick.
