Joystiq: "Early this morning Square Enix clarified the role of former Chief Executive Officer Yoichi Wada within the company, after his name popped up as 'Chairman' on company forms a couple of days ago – a surprising turn given Square's financial condition. A spokesperson explained The Square Enix Group's entire business and operations are managed and executed by Square Enix Holdings Co., Ltd, the parent company."
Square Enix will be releasing three new manga titles later this year, all of which are available for pre-order now.
Today Square Enix announced its financial results for the first nine months of the fiscal year, related to the period between April 2023 and December 2023.
im enjoying FF16. while there is a lot of talking, usually you can skip it. Looking forward to FF7R2!
The story of Chloe and Max could have continued after the ending.
I wish the developers would have gone with their original plans, it sounded really good, but apparently they didn't have enough dev time make the game like that. I'm actually upset with what we did get in the end, mainly that final episode, it was enough to turn me off other games in the series.
You can find some of the cut stuff here:
https://tcrf.net/Life_is_St...
But I can't find the article from when the game first game out that analysed what could have been.
To become an A** ****. Oh wait he's already doing that right now...
Explain whatever you want. At best I'm waiting for demos before I ever consider buying another Square title.
And really, that's way more than the company deserves at this point.
Only SquareEnix game I liked this console gen was Tomb Raider. Only SquareEnix game I am waiting for is the FFX HD remake. The only Final Fantasy game I actually get to enjoy shame that its an older title but it is still one of the best. Hopefully SquareEnix can make FFXV a decent title with the long wait gamers every where have to endure.
From the News:
1. Square's financial condition.
2. Yoichi Wada Chairman of Square Enix Tokyo.
3. Yoichi Wada oversee Social and mobile businesses.
4. Square Enix Tokyo is the developer for FFXIV:ARR
5. Yoichi Wada supporter of FFXIV:ARR.
My analysis suggest.
1. He's just completing his work on Final Fantasy XIV : A Realm Reborn.
2. If FFXIV:ARR sold below expectation SQUARE ENIX Sales Expectation, He'll probably gone from the company.
The Question is,
if FFXIV is Successful, he'll have more power to turn future games into an MMORPGs, which he already done to Japan's most popular RPG, DRAGON QUEST X.
Yoichi Wada made FF15 & KH3 into an MMORPG is highly possible.
Failure of FFXIV:ARR is not an option, because it'll Bankrupt the Company.
