Nice to see TLOU straight in at number 10 for 1 days sales and no Japanese sales at all. We could be looking at close to 2 million by next weeks figures.

ltachiUchiha3955d ago

Agreed. Im so happy for naughty dog & they already patched everything up with the map issue & ellen page, now lets see TLOU do well from here on out.

Nice sales for TloU. Btw, can someone give me the new official WW hardware sales for PS3, X360, and Wii?

Sarobi3955d ago

I don't think you will find accurate numbers for those until the companies come out and say something.

Inception3955d ago

@sarobi
When is usualy the companies tell accurate number for their hardware? I'm just curious though...

We will have to wait for the quarterly reports to get the up to date shipment numbers.

jorellpogi3955d ago

One of the last hurrahs of the PS3 at the same time bringing in some big PS3 hardware sales.

The Last of Us (2013) PS3
God of War II (2007) PS2

Absolute masterpieces, and the perfect way to sign off the end of a generation.

sly-Famous3955d ago

Uhhhh........ Beyond and GT6 is still to be released later this year, so it still has a way to go before it "signs off", besides it will still be well supported by Sony in the future.

hellzsupernova3955d ago

You are right but I think he means they are nice masterpieces fitting for the end of the ps3 / ps2 generations.

GribbleGrunger3955d ago

I wouldn't discount Rain or Puppeteer that quickly. It's going to be damn near impossible to beat TLOU this generation and probably much of next (unless you think graphics are all that matters) but I think both of those games have a great chance of being surprise hits.

Spontogical3955d ago

Hellssupernova's got it.

I'm aware those titles are coming, but when we look back at this generation. I'm certain TLOU will be seen as 'final song' of the PS3.. as in the best game near the end of the generation kind of thing.

Yuck Fou! My mother's a time traveller >:(

Shnazzyone3955d ago

Tell her to enjoy the game like a real man and quit cheatin'

Bathyj3955d ago

wow, look at all this titles that have been on sale for a while and last of us is knocking on their door after just a couple days.

it's possible it will be in the top three sales for the year by next week.

I'm not really a sales numbers guy, I only care about the copy I bought, (well, two actually, one with a bundle) but it's great to see such a well deserving game get the critical acclaim and then the sales to back it up. in fact if you haven't got this game yet, what the hells wrong with you, how can you call yourself a gamer?

I still go back to Infinite Space from time to time. Probably the most underrated game I ever played.

Felt like I was the only person who bought and played this lol

I never got around to mass effect - I’m skeptical that it would hold up if I were to try it now

Furesis11h ago

I would say it does. The combat is a bit shit for todays standards but everything else is great.

anast10h ago

It's worth a play through today.
