Square Enix is continuing to release assets of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn for us to enjoy. After the lovely gameplay trailer and the stunning CG artwork iunveiled today, we get a batch of twelve screenshots from the PC and the PS3 versions of the game.
Today, during a pane at PAX East, Square Enix announced the release date of the next expansion Dawntrail, on top of the editions and more.
The MMORPG will arrive on Xbox consoles on 21st March following its open beta, with Square Enix releasing further details on the launch in a new Lodestone blog post.
Not only is Game Pass required to play the game in full, but FFXIV Coins will be required to make purchases - a new currency not used on PC or PlayStation.
What's even the point if they're doing everything possible to convince people NOT to play?
Bad idea. Kind of at the point its almost like a repeat of FFXI on the 360 with it requiring Gold to play.
Greed greed nothing but greed. Anyone who willingly plays 14 on Xbox is a bona fide sucker.
Kotaku writes: "That’s thanks to a series of announcements from Square Enix about exclusive features and play requirements, the latest being a new currency called FFXIV Coins."
I want this game so bad i havent played a mmorpg and stayed for that long since ffxi that i played it 7 years straight
i hope this one have the same feeling of story consuming
So will you have to pay 2 subscritions (PS PLUS and IN-GAME FEE) to play this online on PS4?
i hope PS PLUS on PS4 covers that its too much money just to be able to play one game.
Beta invites start tomorrow^^
I finally get to the point I'm at end game of WoW, had been putting it off for years. and now FF14 is about to get the release it deserves, if anything I'll be playing the heck out of it just so I can experience the story and adventure that it promises.
