PlayStation Cloud Gaikai Coming in 2014 to US for PS4 and PS3 (Vita Later) to Play PS3 Games

Andrew House has announced that PlayStation Cloud will come to the US in 2014, allowing PS4 and PS3 gamers to stream PS3 games. It will then come to the Vita later. - PSLS

aside from that, i wish they talked a bit more about the Vita and the direction there going with it.
i like how they used a tablet on Watch Dogs...hope the Vita gets similar uses like that! :D

they didn't say if you still have to pay for those games you're streaming even if you have the original PS3 copies although I strongly think you still have to pay a small amount for every game though!

meh...doesn't really bothered me much anyway as I have 3 PS3s for a reason!

Now about the pricing: Is this included with Plus? Will you pay separately for the service and have full access to all games? Will the service be free, but you pay for access to each game?

You can probably just buy it on a game by game basis (buy your ps3 games over again). Or, just keep your ps3.

This doesnt make sense. If the gaikai isnt here until next year what would everybody be paying for....Is the online price or fee confirmed or is it still speculation

That's funny, because Gaikai isn't here now and I'm paying for: Sleeping Dogs, Bioshock 2, Little Big Plante 2, inFamous 2, Demon's Souls, Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus, Uncharted Golden Abyss, Gravity Rush etc....

Let me know if I should keep listing more free games from PS Plus, ok?

Two things that need clarification:

1. Do you really need PS+ for online play?

2. If you can play PS3 games through GaiKai, does that mean you will have access to the games that you bough on the PSN with your PS3?

1. Yes. the attached vid has a disclaimer that confirms it.

2. The way I understood it, Gaikai would be like Netflix where you are paying for access to every PS3 game.

I missed the whole PS+ mandatory statement? I noticed the caption along the bottom of the used game video from Sony. Yet, I would like to know about this as well. Furthermore, if that's true how can you make statements about caring for us gamers if multiplayer/online was once free, and now multiplayer/online is offered at a premium. : -(

Guess we can't always have it our way. Now Microsoft needs to do away with 24hr restrictions.

Coming in 2014 pretty much confirms this feature will be limited for a long time.
