Gi - The seventh generation of consoles was similar to an intense game of Monopoly. It was a game that spanned hours, well into the night with one person seemingly holding all the property with multiple hotels on Boardwalk and Park Place. Dad is deep in debt and down to his shirt and old man garters, Mom is drinking trying to forget where her looks went and how her life got to this point, and right when little brother is about to win, you flip over the board knocking everything to the floor. It is a game that ends in bitterness and tears. No one really wins, but everyone feels like they accomplished something even if it was only resenting each other. It is time to gather the family together again and prepare for another game of acrimony.

Probably won't happen for PS+ since Sony makes a clear distinction between a PS4 game and a PS5 game, unlike PC and Xbox where it is not a specific device game (It's now always an Xbox game).
So to make the PS5 game of fallout 4 available. Bethesda would need to renegotiate the complete deal with Sony.
hence why there's often only the PS4 version of the game available on PS+.
Let's hope Bethesda and Sony can arrive to term quickly.
In that same link, they talked to further support who said PS+ owners aren’t eligible. What a load of BS! The upgrade worked just fine for FF7R. I was looking forward to this. 😞
PS5 upgrades for PS4 games on PS+ are hit and miss. The reason is usually that publisher doesn’t want to hand out free upgrades. Sometimes they offer the upgrade upfront, sometimes they are bullied into it, and sometimes they offer it later in a special edition that Sony buys for PS+. It looks here like Bethesda’s intent was to raise the profile of Fallout 4 (and sell some DLC) so I expect we will see an update for PS+ versions soon.

From Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama, Sand Land is a fun adaptation of the manga and anime in videogame form. For all of its simplicity and repetition, it's a beautiful interpretation of the source material.
If you buy a console at launch, consider yourself a beta-tester for that system. They each will have their own share of issues, upgrades, bug fixes etc. Just the way it is.
