The Xbox One is more or less a known quantity now, but its price has yet to be revealed by Microsoft. I'm done paying to play my games online, and I certainly don't want to have to check in every 24 hours, I want to be able to borrow/give my friends some games, and I don't want to TALK to my Kinect-console (or flap my arms like a lunatic), when I can just press a button.
And most of all, I just want a GAMES-console, NOT a TV-BOX. Certainly not one that spies on me.
a $300 price point would be a pretty big get.
Really anything under $400 would garner them good PR.
If Sony is smart they would charge $399, take a hit, but come out better in the long run.
