It would be cool if you could play verses matches where one team could be the dinosaurs and the other could be the military.

I remember this OLD game on my PC where you could hunt dinosaurs or capture them and have them as in enclosures as torphies. I don't remember the name but someone needs to remake that game.

Game is Carnivores! Capture wasn't so much it, as you could tranquilize them. I have fond memories of that game.....Especially playing with Debug mode on and flying over T-Rexes.

It's a mini now on PSN called Carnivores. You should get it because it plays on Vita. There is also an Ice Age version of the game but I don't know if it's a mini.

I think they should do something like a survival mode. You and a bunch of other players are dropped into a dino zone and you got to survive as many rounds as you can.

There should also do something where you are helicoptered into a zone. You goal is to clear the area and move to the next zone. Each zone progresses in difficulty. Its like king of the hill and survival had a baby

The controls and user interface are a nightmare on the PSmini version. I have it and have played many hours on it. I like it, but I've been an avid gamer since the mid-seventies and remember fondly an era when every game released was fundamentally flawed, the flaws were generally what made the gameplay vary from title to title!

YOU WILL DIE!! Repeatedly die! Die because you can't move your gun quickly enough to track a lumbering 200ton cow meandering towards you from a mile away! Die because the clunky interface wants you dead more than the dinosaurs do and they form an ungodly alience to make it happen as often as possible.

If "Jetset Willie" and "the last ninja" don't fill you with nostalgic joy, you MAY not enjoy this as much as I do.

This code is obviously an easter egg. The code doesn't mean anything. The id="dinosaur" part is how the area will be formatted, and I don't think the rel in the rel="vertebrates" part does anything at all to <div> tags. So this by no means confirms or denies dinosaurs, but I don't think we'll see them :(

If we do, it will be a $20 add on...

A game based in the Blade universe would be nice.

On topic, Dinosaurs could be really awesome.

A small tank, jeep, helicopter,or motorcycle company vs. like 24 or more dinosaurs would be intense. Having pterodactyls and tyrannosaurus coming at you boggles the mind. Velociraptors vs. marines. The velociraptors would have the advantage of blending in with foliage and being really fast. The humans, while slow, will have excellent firepower. This could be really bad ass.

Seriously, zombies are beyond old now. And the thought of how good dinosaurs would look on the Frostbite engine and in an even more enhanced destructible environment makes me REALLY hope this happens.

If true this is obviously Battlefields 'Zombies'. Maybe something like a Turok-esque mode. FPS's are becoming so formulaic.

You do realize that they are adding these because fans had actually asked for a dinosaur mode after some site poked fun at bf3 having dinosaurs and fans became intrigued.

Okay so fans are contributing to FPS being formulaic then. Stop stifling originality and supporting games that glorify, and make enjoyable, by representation, war and the abuse of animals, not to mention games that are stagnating the games industry with constant iteration.

no, Activision went posted on 4chan to gather information on what they would like to see in Call of Duty.

Some people joked that they would not buy the next COD unless it had dinosaurs in it. More and more people started commenting on the thread asking for dinos and mocking COD. Then when BF3 was released they joked around saying BF3 should include dinos.
