EA Sports Pulls Another 'Fifa Old-Gen' On PC Gamers, Ignite Engine Not Coming To The PC

After all, Ignite was announced for next-gen consoles and it has been confirmed that its PC version will be based on its 'old-gen' version. Ive said this before...spend a £1000+ on a high end PC, u will get screwed. Not just by EA, plenty of devs will create games primary for consoles. If u buy a high end GPU like Titan and there aren't good enough games for it and or that games don't utilize its power with console ports, u have been mind fucked. Just stick to next gen console cause devs and publishers are gonna screw ur machine.

Starcraft and those crappy MMORPG/RTS games is what u PC gamers will get...No one in console camp will give a crap about those games.

Consoles are the future, well atleast for next 5 years. After that, PC will become relevant again until a newer generation system arrives. Don't hate on me..i'm just a realist.

They are TRYING to keep the money in the consoles. Otherwise why would they go out of their way to keep the PC version on older tech when the new consoles are x86 native.

What? PC parts are selling wonderfully right now. PC gaming is rising quite well right now. It does this at the end of every console cycle. And, I hate to burst your bubble, but PC gaming has and always has been a pretty large part of the market.

And while I don't know about other people, I certainly buy FIFA on PC. I just hook the computer up to the TV and play with my friends. I know. Mind blown, right?

OR

1623x922 (or whatever weird resolutions ps4/xbox1 use next gen) with 2x fxaa blur at 30 frames

Agreed it will look better on PC anyways . But Im sure Ps4 games will be 1080p and seriously out of all the PC gamers ,who can really Game at 2560X1600 1% ? 2%?

I really don't know about all others but myself, my brother and my 2 close friends from work all have 30" 2560x1600 or 2560x1440 monitors, also use a 55" Samsung tv in the living room, but the quality on the 30" 100% destroys the Sammy

also, ps4 games will not all be native 1920x1080...I 100% am sure, we will see many weird resolutions on both ps4 and xbox1

It's about the features 'behind' the visuals. Physics, crowd, etc. This is why Ignite is being used and not about the visuals themselves
