@brewin

till to this day every time i buy a new game i have to update it(on ps3).. and then after the update it must install game data.. yet the fanboys have no problem with this....

dragonyght3990d ago

lol are you guys guys gonna keep blaming or keep using the PS3 as a scapegoat for Nintendo mistake. its an 8 year old console for Christ sake. this should have been a last-gen issue The WiiU supposedly is Next Gen right!?

BeZdaBest3990d ago

the ps3 i personally have not problems with..i have a problem with the sony/all fanboys(not everyone) that like to spout..what was the word.."RUBBISH" AND LIES....MOST sony fanboys change their tune for the sake of sony..

http://www.youtube.com/watc...

from the ps1 days upto the ps2 days....ya where singing the...we have mores games and we sold way more they you guys.. now the ps3 didnt have no games and the power wasnt helping it wat were ya saying then..NOTHING but its got more POWER..

what mistake would that be.. not following the trends.. "NOT BEING DOWN WITH THE POWERFRIENDS"

that's all it ever been with nintendo... you sony fans hate nintendo but want there games..

thats a contridictions...

Brucis3990d ago

What are you talking about? This has to do with updates, not specs. It was a comparison, showing how something was alright when one company does it but gets put into a negative light for another.

Nobody is blaming the PS3 for another console's system updates lol

Realplaya3990d ago

If you think the new systems wont need patches and updates I will bet you. nPut your money where your mouth is.

Nevers0ft3990d ago

You could also argue that Sony have had eight years to refine and streamline the PS3 update process and haven't... Nintendo have had 7 months.

Updates are updates - the fact that we even have the technology to now improve our existing hardware via firmware updates still amazes me. At 42 years old, I can guarantee you that this sort of feature simply could not exist technologically 20 years ago. The fact that people complain about system updates baffles me -- they are ongoing *improvements* to your system, coming at you from the hardware manufacturer, for FREE -- quit whining about the 30 f**ing minutes it takes to download and install. People are so spoiled and impatient these days, I tell ya. Oh, and GET OFF MY LAWN! :)

JuleyJules3990d ago

Exactly! Everything these days has updates from your Ipad/Iphone, blu ray player, computer to your game system. I'm happy to take time to download an update as it shows the company is looking at ways to improve upon things that are going on with their products. If they weren't doing that I could see a reason to whine but not for this!

Agreed, and by the way we are the same age. My partners dad bought a Samsung smart TV 3 months ago, and when I set it up and connected it to the net, guess what? A 60 min update, and it is just a TV (a really, cool one). It updates itself now at night at 3am now because I programmed it to. In the past 3 months it has updated at least 3 times that I know of.

Some of the people who comment on Nintendo Updates don't even have a Wii U, and they just comment on the article to bash Nintendo. Very childish.

Wii U games that still haven't been ported to Switch

The Nintendo Switch is potentially nearing its lifespan, and several Wii U games haven't found their way over as ports yet.

I think it's better to leave games like AC: Amiibo Festival and Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash forgotten on the Wii U. Best case, they are mediocre games; worse case, they are very bad. It was a dark time for the Wii U, and the first only exists to sell Amiibo cards, whereas the second was put together in a couple of months with a shoestring budget, and it shows.

The rest of the list does have some really cool games, though. I would love to see a remake of Star Fox Zero with decent controls, and Xenoblade X doesn't require that much modification to work.

How would XCX work without dual screens functionality?

Cacabunga2d ago

Same as Paper Mario color splash. One of the best wiiu games and getting even better with dual screen. Same reason why i prefer Splatoon 1

This article leaves out Nintendo's most controversial game to date devils Third.
I personally found the cover system really fun in that one compared to at the time most fps games completely lacking one.

Stevonidas2d ago

Devil's Third is HIGHLY underrated.

They should remake Starfox to the switch 2. Very beautiful game during gamecube days.

Kirby is always ignored or forgotten by people, so good to see it mentioned here.
Play Kirby Canvas Curse on DS, and then play Rainbow Curse on Wii U, they're really fun and unique 'platformers' without any actual jumping.
