The last statement is so very true, all the great games are basically time machines. Except you cant go back i suppose.

Best examples of this sort of thing for me is the likes of GTA, Fallout, Elder Scrolls, Dark Souls etc... where you can spend about 3/4 hours playing the game then when you're finished you realize you didn't even do anything, like you didn't make any progress in the game at all. Rather you spend ages looking for a fast car/bike, then spends ages looking for and then doing a jump with your car/bike in GTA, being constantly distracted from you objective in Fallout/Elder Scrolls or spend ages collect souls to buy shards to upgrade your weapon +1 in the Souls series. Things like that.

I consider myself a huge Rockstar fan and recently bought Manhunt and Bully on GMG, I was bragging to my brother how nobody remembers these two Rockstar gems, especially Bully. Yet i completely forgot about Smugglers Run, cant believe i did, the hours i put into that game.

Definitely would love to see a comeback.
