"Yes, yes. We know. "Wii U actually has ten games, much more ten that are actually worth playing!?111" Oh, Internet, you never fail to amuse us.While you're at it, post videos of the Harlem Shake and Keyboard Cat. They're just as overdone to us.
In all seriousness, for the abuse that Nintendo's Wii U has received (and a good portion of it is deserved), one part that we at SuperPhillip Central just can't wrap our brains around is the idea that the system is lacking games. Obviously if you are an Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 owner, many of the titles you've already played. However, a fair amount of them are worthwhile, even for those who already own a 360 or PS3. This list of the ten best Wii U games that are currently out should illustrate why we think Nintendo's struggling system has got the games. It just needs the sales," writes SuperPhillip Central.
Hanzala from eXputer: "The cruel hammer of Nintendo has fallen. Farewell, 3DS and Wii U, you surely brightened my life and many others; you won't be forgotten."
Hanzla from eXputer inquires: "If Xbox can care about preserving its games and legacy, what exactly is wrong with Nintendo, trying to kill game preservation single-handedly?"
Ahh yes the good old game preservation of saving all your games to a removable hhd on the Xbox 360, taking it round your mates house, setting up multiple tvs to
Be met with “save data corrupted, please re download”
Or how about removing 360 games
From the store
, download them now or else, and, better hope to god that save data doesn’t corrupt, or it’s lost for ever
Nice one ☝️
This is just a scammy PR move to distract from the fact they are going digital only and trying to push streaming and subscriptions only.
No gaming company has pushed harder to remove ownership than Microsoft.
Without discs there is no preservation, preservation can't be done by the rights holders it can only be done by the consumers, anything else is a lie.
Nobody wants this. Sales or the lack of it in the case of XBOX is very telling. I wonder how the adorably all digital series X will fare. Adorably dismal perhaps?
Only time will tell, but for from someone like me suspecting that Xbox is trying to gracefully exit the console market, that "forward compatibility" team is trying to get Xbox games playing on Windows PCs. I mean, it's nice that they're not planning on exiting with a "enjoy your games while the hardware still works" message, so that's nice. They still have a brand to protect via Microsoft so probably feel obligated to have a better exit strategy.
Danish from eXputer: "Nintendo has historically gone against player-made content and emulation of its games. This has done much to harm the company's image."
They need to stop announcing these mods and fan remakes until they're finished. Finish it, upload it, and then if Nintendo dmca's it tough shit. Once it's online, people can share it around, even if the original download gets taken down.
This is all coming from the mouth of short-sighted fandom and grifting madness.
No.... it wont. There is a clear defined reason why they don't. This is nothing new. Make your own shi7 from your own original ideas especially if you are trying to capitalize of it it. Duh.
Yeah, hire people that have zero respect or understanding for an established process. Wow. Yep. Totally makes sense.
LOL, when I read the title of this article, the first sentence was what immediately flashed through my head.
Some people fail to realize that just because the Wii U has ports of some older games, it doesn't mean that those games aren't any good. For a person who maybe doesn't own a 360 or PS3, should we be telling them that Arkham City, ME3 or NFS: Most Wanted are crap games that shouldn't be played?
And games like Super Mario Brothers, Lego City and Trine 2 are indeed fabulous games. I am having a blast with those three currently.
If you have a ps3 or 360.. The only games on the Wii U for the core are ZombieU, Monster Hunter, and New Mario bros...at its current price point it's just not worth getting if you own the other consoles. Give it a year or two. The next Zelda, Xenoblades, Pikman, Mario, smash bros, Metroid, Donkey Kong, Wii U will eventually have a legitimate top ten.
i hope undercover releases on PS3 one day, it looks pretty cool
Top 3 no particular order
1-Lego City
2-NFSMWU
3-Trine 2
I still need to try ZombieU as all I've played is a bit of NintendoLand and Monster Hunter. Definitely need to get New Super Mario bros since it's been...ages since I last played a Mario game.
