Heavy Rain offered a great deal to players looking for a deep tale of love and loss. The narrative was well-woven, moments of tension were masterfully orchestrated, and player agency was so thorough that any two people might have had completely different character interactions and dialog opportunities.
The title did have its detractors, though according to director David Cage, 75% of players that started Heavy Rain reached its conclusion (compared to a 20% average completion rate across the industry, according to him). One of the biggest barriers to enjoyment was the largely stilted acting, especially as it often failed to pair well with character movements.
DSOGaming writes: "Quantic Dream has just released Detroit: Become Human, Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls on the PC, and has removed Denuvo from them."
Quantic Dream revealed the upcoming Steam Release of its games Detroit: Become Human, Beyond: Two Souls, and Heavy Rain coming "soon."
Sony is expanding their PC approach beyond (no pun intended) Epic Store realm.

When the crazy Xbox fans completely falsify facts to meet their agenda it really just makes you question how desperate these people are and how brainwashed they’ve become.
I blame Sony, you can only take a beating for so long and Sony been laying the fist into them for three generations now.
BY GRANT TAYLOR: If there’s one thing I appreciate in gaming, it’s a strong female character. In recent years, we’ve seen countless women in games, ranging from fierce warriors to masters of the supernatural. These days, if a game doesn’t have a female lead, you at least have the choice to select one.
I’ve played so many games with brilliant female protagonists in the last decade. It was honestly difficult getting this list down to just five!
So, which of these characters rank the highest?
While it's nice to see the dev pushing this tech forward, the biggest improvement for Beyond will come from the inclusion of big name high quality actors. Ellen Page is really great!
On the tech side, I personally thought the facial tech in Heavy Rain was really very good. The only tech that stood out as bad was actually how when characters made physical contact it resembles a child pretend playing by smashing two dolls or action figures together awkwardly. But that wasn't that bad relative to the entire experience.
What was bad was the clearly French dialog being poorly translated into English by French actors who themselves were poorly imitating English.
By the way I really enjoyed heavy rain as a game, as a story, and as something that pushes the boundaries of what we call games.
But not it's acting and dialog, which imo was terrible for the most part. Especially Jason! Hated that character with a passion. Really David, how can you expect us to empathize with a character morning the loss of his son if his son sucks! I'd personally love a DLC where I get to drive the car and hit Jason myself. Anything not to hear his voice again.
Seriously Heavy Rain goes beyond (no joke inside of course) character "flaws" because it's a game which has the full package with emotions on top of that.
If Beyond corrects some "imperfections" from Heavy Rain this game will definitely be remembered
Sony used awesome exclusive
A critical hit!
