yay Vita hardware sales are higher again ^_^

yugovega4012d ago

not too bad on the wiiu side as well. could be worse. like 360's sales. they should really give up over there. it costs more to ship their systems there then they are making.

sinncross4012d ago

Thats the lowest hardware sales for the WiiU for any week in Japan so far.

hopefully it does not fall further.

Not bad for the PSV, but 15k cant be the baseline it stays at... it needs to be higher after that price cut.

talocaca4012d ago

Here in Japan Im starting to see many people with Vitas on the train....and many colors are sold out at retailers...always a good sign...

Now about that worldwide price drop....e3?

majiebeast4012d ago (Edited 4012d ago )

Best time would be at E3, Sony has said they have 100+ games coming out for Vita this year so lets hope that is shown at E3 plus they can show off the PS4+Vita capabilities.

Wii looks to be as dead as 360 in Japan, they really dropped their most succesful console like a bad habit.

me as well. I just need a high capacity card. 128GB or 256GB maybe, lol.

3DS beasting again.
It Only Prints Money

Moonman4012d ago

Whoever disagreed is lying to themselves. 3DS is about to get Monster Hunter 4 and Pokemon X Y and own the rest of the year in japan.

Since there's no way to disagree with sales numbers I think people disagreed with a known troll who used a tagline from PS3.

I just find it unbelievable to see all these SKUs selling like hotcakes. Next up 3DS LLL that has everything the same but 0.1 inches bigger screen. Sales explode! Next up 3DS LLLL with 0.1 inches bigger screen. Sales explode! Etc. Etc. It boggles the mind is all. With handhelds Nintendo truly could sell bricks and call them brick DS and people would be all over them aswell.

majiebeast4012d ago

Actually no the software attach ratio of the 3DS is 1 on 3 below average thats not print money cause it means 3ds owners on average only have 3 games for the system. When you compare that to the DS, which sold 153 million units and has moved 990 million pieces of software it looks pretty bad software makes the money not hardware.

Troll to some, freedom fighters to others. Hehehe XD
Honestly though, what part of what I said was remotely disagreeable?
To paraphrase another n4g member; I speak my mind and what I perceive is true, I don't care if that upsets you.

As for Nintendo SKU's selling like hot cakes, it helps when they make games that the handheld market in Japan craves for. Lets not discount software sales mien of make outlandish claims about Nintendo's success being based solely on name and screen size increases.
Lets also not forget that this tactic is not exclusive to Nintendo, in fact another console maker released the 3rd variant of their console not too long ago.

Tales Of Graces Ƒ Retro Review – Holding Out For a Hero

Gary Green said: Namco Bandai heard the call of many fans asking for the PlayStation release of Tales of Graces which was originally released seemingly exclusively for the Wii back in 2009. If you’re acquainted with the Tales series then Graces f won’t be something entirely new to you, yet if you’re a newcomer then you’ll find a plethora of gameplay mechanics and nuances that distinguish this series from other JRPGs. While the game finds itself following the traditional archetype of JRPGs, such as a somewhat clichéd story, Graces has something to offer to both veterans and newcomers alike.
