Up-to-date stats for the biggest games on Wii U, 3DS, DS and Wii.
Andrew Goldfarb - Nintendo has revealed updated sales figures for its biggest games on DS, 3DS, Wii and Wii U. The figures come as part of Nintendo’s latest financial report and were released alongside current hardware sales.
By platform, the following figures represent worldwide sales including games bundled with hardware and current as of March 31, 2013:
Huzaifa from eXputer: "The Nintendo Partner Spotlight sale event has discounted a number of worthy titles on the Switch. Here are 6 of them you should check out."
If you were a 90s kid excited about Nintendo’s upcoming N64 console, you likely read something somewhere about the Nintendo 64 Disk Drive, also known as the 64DD or DD64.
Other nominees include games like SimCity & Tony Hawk's Pro Skater.
There are some good nominees in this list that are deserving to be inducted also, but I feel Metroid has had the most impact on the industry out of all of these. Look how Metroid influenced the evolution of the Castlevania games, and the "Metroidvania" subgenre of games have become a prevailing force in gaming today. Especially now, Metroidvanias are bigger than ever.
I can very much see Resident Evil being added later too, bc it really did popularize and define the survival horror genre. I would say that one is next in line.
If any Metroid game should get the honor it should be Super Metroid , it's perfection in my eyes . 30 years later and I still feel it's the most epic shit ever .
The GBA remake deserves it or Super Metroid, the original was a very sloppy and rushed game programmed in 3 months and it shows.
If you've never played the remake, it's absolutely a must play, fixes basically every flaw in the game. Check out ExoParadigmGamer's comparison video.

Nobody does it like Nintendoes.
34million mariokart wii sales, wiifit 20million,and people say these games WON'T move systems?
This is what people here just can't grasp. Nintendo games are cheaper to make, and sell way more than any other franchise from any other system. People keep claiming doom for Nintendo, when they are better off than any other system. The Wii, DS, and 3DS are outselling competition, and the games are selling huge amounts.
Even if WiiU sells "poorly" Nintendo could afford low console sales for multiple generations. The WiiU isn't even doing terribly, just about the same as the other consoles when they came out.
And people say Nintendo is doomed.
I was just about.to say the same thing. Mario kart wii sells 34 mill but costs a fraction of what it cost sony to make the ever popular granturismo. Ppl wont understand why nintendo is succesful while all over the net we keep hearing of companies either closing down or revising their studios to turn a prophet (eg. SquareEnix stating tomb raider at 3 million+ isnt considered succesfull
