Okami announcement coming next week

The official Japanese Okami Twitter account seems to be teasing news for next week.

“Hello, this is Okami news,” said the account. “Sorry I’ve been kind of out of touch lately, but I have the feeling we’ll be able to drop a fresh announcement like WHAM! around the beginning of Golden Week, so please look forward to it. Right now we’re on track with preparations.

Nothing wrong with exclusive games dude... and wanting the sequel to an exclusive game to be exclusive too isn't really fanboyish now is it. Im not counting the handheld version because, as good as it was, it wasn't the same game. I do share your sentiment that all should get to experience okami though but if people want to play it that badly, grab the consoles its on.

Haven't played Okami HD yet. If it's announced for Vita then I'll buy it in a heartbeat.

u should play it as soon as you can, one of the best games I've played.. game has zelda vibe in it.. I love everything about that game.. good story, characters, humor, music (soo good), gameplay, mechanics, boses, ending (amazing)..wow, just get it.. at first game may look weird, but when u'll get into it, u'll understand why its so gorgeous :)

I think it should be a wiiu exclusive,Not trying to be a fanboy but Imagine this game with the gamepad, it only makes sense for a game about drawing to be on a system that gives you an actual drawing board.

If there is a sequel I hope they get some voice actors in the game, I love Okami it's one of my favourites ,but the the constant text reading and incomprehensible voice sounds was almost nightmarish especially in the first un-skippable 20 minutes intro, if they got some Japanese voice actors and subtitles that would have been perfect it actually would have made the story more engaging imo

I've been playing the PS3 version now, and it's AWESOME! One of the few PS-games a I've played lately (mostly a PC gamer), but I have to say that those games are something, which make the PS3 a console worth having.
