SuperPhillip Central writes, "It's common in the industry for franchises to take a hiatus, even if they're at the height of their popularity. However, in most cases a series is shelved after an entry in it has poor sales. Regardless, SuperPhillip Central has compiled a list of ten franchises that we'd love to see return and make a comeback, regardless of what system it comes out on-- PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Durango, Xbox 360, Wii U, PC, Mac, 3DS, Vita, or any downloadable service. Simply put, these ten franchises are ones that have just been away for far too long for our liking."
The friendly folks over at Razer recently sent us their full size Kishi Ultra mobile gaming controller, and this thing didn't disappoint.
VGChartz's Mark Nielsen: "Upon finally finishing Devil May Cry 5 recently - after it spent several years on my “I’ll play that soon” list - I considered giving it a fittingly-named Late Look article. However, considering that this was indeed the final piece I was missing in the DMC puzzle, I decided to instead take this opportunity to take a look back at the entirety of this genre-defining series and rank the entries. What also made this a particularly tempting notion was that while most high-profile series have developed fairly evenly over time, with a few bumps on the road, the history of Devil May Cry has, at least in my eyes, been an absolute roller coaster, with everything from total disasters to action game gold."
3,1,4,5 to me, never played 2. 5 gameplay is amazing but level design was really disappointing to me, just a bunch of plain arenas, the story felt like a worse written rehash of the 3rd and the charater models looked weird ( specially the ladies ). Another problem with 5 was that there was not enough content for 3 charaters so I could never really familiarize with any of them
Vanillaware's tactical role-playing game Unicorn Overlord is a beautiful mix of old mechanics and new-age graphics, with over 65 unique recruitable characters and a rich storyline.
A healthy part of my Balanced Console Cycle is:
Link, Fire Emblem, and SAMUS
It's like a TRIFORCE of GREAT Gameplay.
Everything else is Dessert.
No Star Fox? Aside from the 3DS remake, there hasn't been a new Star Fox game since Command in 2006.
Jak & Daxter
I agree 100% with this list. Especially Megaman. A Klonoa game would also look gorgeous on 3DS in 3D with the awesome 2.5D visuals. I also want Advance Wars and Star Fox.
The first Actraiser needs to make a comeback, screw the second one. Earthbound, Alundra ( again the first one) Lunar needs another entry along with Shadow Hearts, and what happened to Panzer Dragoon!?! The Xbox entry was the only I got to play and it was AWESOME.
