Gearbox Software has prevailed as the highest bidder in the acquisition of the Homeworld franchise from THQ. Brian Martel, Gearbox Software's Chief Creative Officer, has great love and respect for Relic's brilliant, fun and innovative game and personally spearheaded the acquisition.
Where do you want Fallout 5 to be set? Countless places have been called out but one has risen above
Nashville area wouldn't be bad tbh, but I'd prefer to take that back to the west coast.
"The US-based indie games publisher The Retro Room Games are today very pleased and excited to announce that their anime-styled boss rush/shoot-em-up game "Song Of Morus - Gala Of Battle", is now digitally and physically available for the Nintendo Game Boy." - Jonas Ek, TGG.
Players expected new fixes and were quite disappointed by the absence of the expected Helldivers 2 patch.
I do not know how to feel about this news. I never expected Gearbox to even make a bid on it wouldve rather seen a RTS dev pick it up.
Randy used SEGA's Aliens dev budget to buy this, the puzzle is coming together people J/K.
@Donnie
They only did 2 of the expansions opposing force and blueshift and a few ports.
I'm upset because wanted SEGA to grab the franchise
My favorite RTS franchise of all time, is bought by the creators of Borderlands, Brothers in Arms, Half Life [edit: only did the expansions], Borderlands 2?
But then again they also made Duke Nukem Forever.
I don't know what to think...
EDIT: @Majibeast: Yeah, they only did the Half Life expansions, not even the real game. Oh boy, this is a strange marriage.
I REALLY don't know how to react to this. Good for Gearbox, I guess??
oh god .. nooooooooooooo!
someone slap me and tell me it's a bad dream, please
GearBox dever did a RTS in their entire existence
so long HomeWorld :(
