It's the sign of the times, man. People now have to worry about crazy religious fanatics randomly attacking us. I mean, they blew up a race marathon. Living in Arizona. They always pretend to be all safe and secure after every major issue. After the movie theater thing, they evacuated an entire theater because of some bum walking by with a knife....

Look at actual bomb threats.... people HIDE the bombs. Rather it be out of site, or in a backpack. And second of all people bomb major traffic areas. Why would someone put a bomb in a giant obvious box in the middle of a few houses?

TBH it's not always religious fanatics. Some of the earlier suicide bombers were politically motivated & not influenced by religious doctrines.

Tsar Alexander II was killed by a suicide bomber, Jap soldiers in WW2 sacraficed themselves for the 'Empire' whilst the Marxist terrorist group 'Tamil Tigers' have murdered thousands in Sri Lanka. Timothy McVeigh had no religious motive but that didn't stop him murdering 168 people.

Saying this isn't what the gaming world needs for our image is playing right into political hands as its an admittance of plausible connection so good job on doing their work for them.

I was thinking the same thing. As one poster said above, this sends a very negative image about gamers. Whether it's immaturity or people being naive, this reflects poorly on gamers. We should be supporting the people that were hurt and coming together as a nation, not making a joke out of it.
