Please be true, don't make us wait Sony, a Worldwide launch would be such a boon for PS4.

I'd rather see worldwide shortages than make ANY region wait for launch. Not only does it make your customer base in those regions feel like alienated, second-class citizens, it also makes sure that devoted fans who queue for hours and pre-order well in advance are rewarded for their dedication.

Agree! I'm in the UK and the wait between the PS3 launch in November for the US and the launch in March for us was torture! If there is such a gap between the PS4 region launches it would be even more torturous because the PS4 is looking to have a much better launch with so many good games and content coming out right away. I love Sony and I love PlayStation and after the PS4 comes out I'll love them even more. Please Sony, my pre-order is down, now do the right thing and release before Christmas!

Like anyone cared, PS4 will not launch in Turkey in 2013. While insignificant to most, it means that small markets will not see PS4 in 2013. I'm expecting a Japan / US launch first, and before the end of 2013 it should launch in bigger European markets.

like anyone cared? i care, i'm european and i really hope to be able to buy a PS4 before the end of 2013.
next time speak for yourself.

hesido4032d ago

Like anyone cared about Turkey PS4 launch I meant. It may be insignificant to people in Japan and US, for example, but the fact that at least it won't be launching in Turkey in 2013 can be extrapolated to similar markets.

Don't go up in arms so quickly!?

MRMagoo1234031d ago

It better do , i have $400 down on it already at eb games.

byeGollum4032d ago

Yeah, sadly they'll make us wait. . . the rest of Europe that is. UK might get it this year tho'. I want to hold that new controller in my hands soon.

Baka-akaB4032d ago

Makes no sense , if UK gets it the rest of europe will . Since when does uk get it before most of europe ?

silvacrest4032d ago

hasn't it been like that for most electronic devices?

look at smartphones, the highest selling phone last year (the galaxy S3) came out in the UK months before even the US got it, nevermind other regions

Baka-akaB4032d ago (Edited 4032d ago )

we are talking about consoles here . UK doesnt usually get them before the rest of europe .

And from what i remember UK didnt get the S3 before most EU regions . Nor will UK get the S4 before those same regions

IRetrouk4031d ago

The uks getting the s4 this month, same as us i think. As for the ps4, they may release worldwide you never know.

Ezz20134032d ago (Edited 4032d ago )

Fallout 4 is now available on next-gen consoles, but PS Plus users might be left disappointed

Probably won't happen for PS+ since Sony makes a clear distinction between a PS4 game and a PS5 game, unlike PC and Xbox where it is not a specific device game (It's now always an Xbox game).

So to make the PS5 game of fallout 4 available. Bethesda would need to renegotiate the complete deal with Sony.
hence why there's often only the PS4 version of the game available on PS+.

Let's hope Bethesda and Sony can arrive to term quickly.

I think a hard copy should be relatively cheap at this point.
