Ni no Kuni studio has a PS4 title in development, announcement could happen soon

Lol at the cynical one but he has a point even though not every title that has pre pre hype ends up being a no show or crap.... NNK is testament to that. Devs have to build hype and sites and mags need things to write about so I guess it'll never end

Well it's a good thing that it's just your opinion (and a stupid one at that). I personally am happy to hear that they are moving to a next gen console and am excited to see what their next project is. Do you see the word I used there? "excited". I think that's what the developer wants people to feel when they announce that they are moving to a brand new platform and developing a game, "excitement".

I just... kinda don't want to by hyped about it for 2..3..4+ years. White Knight Chronicles took 5.

More than that.. I don't wanna see those guys kill themselves to deliver on a promise made prematurely.

I'm thrilled they're working on a PS4 game. Fingers crossed it's another Studio Ghibli collaboration or something like Dark Cloud. I hope that's all we hear about it until it's a game.. not a prerendered cutscene depicting their 'vision'.

Most likely exclusive. Level 5 generally doesnt do Multiplat titles and Level 5 basically hates MS at this point after MS torpedoed True fantasy online. Not sure who owns the TFO IP but i hope Level 5 brings it to the PS4 since Hino wants to finished it.

It seems more and more likely that this will be the MMO he wanted to create on the Xbox before MS canned it.

And considering how WKC had an online aspect and being able to tackle quests online with friends on the PS3 I'm certain they fully intend to make the MMO they never got to make. Which is boon for Sony because MMO games on consoles are far and few between.

Ni No story is great but the gameplay sucks to me and doesn't give mme dark cloud feelings so i still want dark cloud or at least an HD collection for the vita or the ps3 :(

All i have to say is welcome home Level-5! Sony & Level-5 had always had a very strong relationship that spawned some memorable games for the platform like Dark Cloud, Rogue Galaxy, Jeanne D'Arc, Ni no Kuni & quite possibly the best Dragon Quest game ever made Dragon Quest VIII.

Looking forward to this continued relationship & seeing what other great titles Level-5 can come up with.
