GameXplain: "In this Cool Bits, we take a look at a ton of secret gaming references in Luigi's Mansion 2: Dark Moon for the Nintendo 3DS, including a famous movie reference, a music track from Mario Strikers Charged, and a cameo from a Donkey Kong Returns enemy, and more! Thanks to SkittyMario for the Donkey Kong Country Returns cameo tip and xRoyal64 for the elevator music one!"
If you're still holding tight onto your Nintendo 3DS, make sure you've got the best games.
Really enjoyed Mario Kart 7 and Kid icarus also spent way to long on smash bros prob why still yet to properly play luigis mansion 2 did about 5-10 hours, majoras mask 😅🥴 and evening a link between worlds
However Pokemon X/Y were great and the 3rd gen remakes, Mario 3d land was brilliant Pilotwings was a great launch game. Got rhythm paradise and professor layton yet to play bought one got the other for free somewhere. Got all the Vc stuff nes SNES megs drive game gear Game boy and colour I got 10 GBA games 3d classics Wario ware touched so many great games all under one console. Had mine since day still got stuff to play, or play again (VC) great article tho nice to see it all on one page rather than spread between adverts.
Some great games there. Still waiting for the switch to become a real powerhouse with more of what Nintendo is known for. I feel that with 2 years in, it has been slow.
It is a good time to be a Luigi fan. Mario’s little brother not only has a place in Super Mario Maker 2, but 2019 brought his adventure series back. Luigi’s Mansion has returned! But, what if someone didn’t play it on the GameCube? What if a person missed the handheld releases? Here’s why everyone should help Luigi suck up some unruly spirits.
Before Luigi’s Mansion came out in 2001, Luigi was stuck in Mario’s shadow. Luigi started life as a green-colored palette-swap for Mario in the 1983 arcade game Mario Bros., and that was his role going forward for a long time. If a Mario game had two players, Luigi would be called into action.
That’s why the announcement of Luigi’s Mansion felt like such a big deal. Every major Nintendo home console had launched with a Mario game. Now, the GameCube was going to debut in 2001 alongside a solo Luigi adventure. Finally, the little brother plumber was getting the spotlight.
Those are cool!
cool
This game is great BTW...so much charm and variety, and tons of loot to scavenge for. If you have a 3DS...buy it. If you don't, seriously consider getting a 3DS to play this game...then also get Mario 3D Land. And Professor Layton. And Ocarina of Time. And Mario Kart. And Fire Emblem in a little while, and the new Pokemon later in the year.
Just get a 3DS and enjoy the games...forget smart phones and tablets, handheld gaming doesn't get better than 3DS.
Hell, get a Vita...it's worst game still kicks the butt of any smart phone game out there.
The best game for phones and tablets is GTA 3 for goodness sake, and it's almost gimped by the rubbish touch screen controls.
Angry Birds will kill 10 minutes, Dark Moon will keep you going for hours and is a FAR more rewarding game.
