EA's Confident Response To Criticism Shows That Gamers Are All Talk

We could sit here all day on the internet and type out anti EA comments but that doesn't stop the average gamer from buying BF4 and other EA software

I'm not all talk. If I say something, I stick by it. I own no Activision games, and the only EA game I own is Bulletstorm. Most are rentals or borrows from friends. I laugh at those with no self control. It makes them seem weak and pathetic IMO. I don't mind people buying EA products, but at least don't bitch and moan when you get ripped off for the 50th time.

Moore stated in his post yesterday that 45 million users are now registered to the service. It looks like EA won that battle.

Wait you have to register either way if you want to see your stats from games??.So yea...not exactly 45 mil.

Only reason Simcity sold is because it was a long requested sequel same for Diablo 3. Just look at Crysis 3 and Dead space 3 those games didnt have such favorable sales numbers.

Unfortunately, and this isn't just regarding EA, but while many will complain about either low quality, poor content, overpriced, rip-off expansions and micro-transactions etc etc those same ppl have absolutely no backbone at all when it comes to just not purchasing and standing their ground.
The "me must have it" completely takes over and companies like EA know this so why should their care what those gamers say.

One of the big problems with "gamers" and standing up to EA is an age thing.

A lot of gamers are under 18 and have there parents buy there games and they have no sense of the value of money. I know when my parents bought my games I didn't care at all the value I was getting.

And it's also conditioning, for a lot of gamers this may have been there first generation and they don't have the memories to tell them micro transactions are a rip off when they have existed there whole life.

Anyways i'm not bashing kids I promise, it's just an observation. With age comes wisdom trust me.

It's hypocrisy from gamers. We all buy EA products then bitch and moan. It's not fair to EA, they make some mistakes, but they are mostly ok in my book.

No, we all don't. The problem is that those of us who would abstain from buying EA games are massively outnumbered by those who can't wait for the next Battlefield, Madden, or FIFA game.

Doesn't matter if a few hundred people on N4G follow through, when 10 million others won't even hesitate to give EA money.

Last EA game I bought was Mass Effect. Broke the camel's back on that one.

I dont buy EA games. No BF,deadspace3,Crysis3, Fuse, sims....no Madden Fifa or Need for Speed.

I think Peter Moore was just saying that gamers are being a little silly when it comes to naming EA the worst company. Companies in the industry he named are so much worse than EA it is no contest. I agree with him. I don't like EA. They have a long way to go to make me buy many of their new games. But they aren't forcing people out of their homes or stealing anyone's life savings. People that think EA is the worst company need to broaden their horizons.

I would suggest that anyone that buys an EA game with MP should wait a few weeks until they get enough servers. Never buy day one.

I had to make an Origin account when i played Dragon's Age: Origin on the PS3 and then make another account with the same e-mail address for installing BF3 on PC... then they finally merged it after an Origin update. It was weird. I wonder if things like what happened with me as two accounts.

Then Boycott their games if gamers are all talk. Its not like we are going to die if we did not purchase even one EA game.
