"By now, you have most likely seen the explosive and beautifully detailed Battlefield 4 reveal trailer. While the action-packed footage was entertaining, my focus remained set on Battlefield’s true focus: multiplayer. Having been a fan of the series since the debut of Battlefield 1942 over a decade ago, I've come to know and love the ever-developing formula of this popular competitive FPS. That doesn't mean I’m completely satisfied with DICE’s modifications over the years though. The most recent entry, Battlefield 3, left a majority of Recon players unhappy. DICE attempted to take the lone wolf sniper and make him/her the most team-oriented player on the field, but the result was the complete castration of the class. Here are some ways that Battlefield 4 can return the sniper to its former glory." - JPS
Cheaters & hackers have been causing grief on Battlefield 1, Hardline & BF4 servers, with nonstop DDoS attacks among other things. Unfortunately, EA has remained silent about it.
if this happened in 2042, they'd have something to say. which is weird, considering battlefield 1 has more players on steam right now.
Its so obvious that EA is doing this or hired ppl to mess up the games so that we’d be forced to have just 1 Battlefield working.
Honestly it’s probably the devs themselves. They did an update to bf4 way back that kinda made assault rifles doo doo in hopes that people would flock to BF1 cuz BF4 was too perfect
The shooter genre is one of the most beloved videogame genres in the gaming community, and rightfully so. From DOOM Eternal to Battlefield 4, passing through The Outer Worlds, the Xbox Game Pass has a lot to offer when it comes to amazing shooter experiences. Come check out some great shooter games available on Xbox Game Pass!
There's a bunch of great shooters on gamepass; both legacy and new.
A recommendation I have is a work in progress preview title called Anacrusis. It's a lot of fun, and has a cool aesthetic.
KeenGamer: "Sometimes a game starts out as a buggy mess and we all just stop and think, “that definitely could have spent a bit more time in the oven”. This is the case for these 5 games which infamously marked their place in recent game memory."
So, to sum it up, bring back the recon class from Bad Company 2.
just bring back the bc2 class more or less at least the motion sensor ball let them call in mortars again i think was fair, they couldn't spam it cause of the cool down unlike support in bf3 and it was a deterrent so people wouldnt run right into mortar fire
Yeah, I feel like there's nothing wrong with Recon class. Granted, most people that play it only try to get really really long headshots (and really, we've all done that a few times) all round long, but the tools that Recon has are really really useful, and if you play the class right it's pretty great. Granted, I'll always favor Engineer over everything just because I love that playstyle best, but I use all the classes effectively depending on what is required at the particular time in the round.
The writer does have a point. In Bf3, the recon's gadgets are solely reliant on whether his team uses them or not. Every other class allows for independent play.
I liked the BF3 Recon, they had a lot of stuff going for them.
Motion Sensors.
Sniping from far away.
Semi-Auto Rifles compared to Assaults at mid-range.
The only change I would make is a slight buff on the OHK range of bolt actions.
