Sony creates Sony Computer Entertainment Japan/Asia

This is a good move. Consolidating your resources and sharing a pool of talent instead of everyone being a completely different entity while working under the same umbrella is a better option. Sadly, this means a some people will probably end up losing their jobs but small measures like these do help companies get back in the black and secure jobs of a lot more people and help stabilize economy.

SCEJ makes some great games, but they need a larger volume of work I believe.

It's basically restructuring. SCEJ has been renamed to SCEJ/Asia. Hope they have more Asian focus though. Sony can make a lot of money in that continent if they get their marketing strategy right.

Asia wide release, hopefully with English support mandatory. then we can just download games from PSN day1 instead of waiting 2 years(if ever) for a western version.

Again. I live in middle east, Bahrain. My country doesn't have a store And i have ps+ in usa and europe. I just buy psn cards from stores or from these two websites :

Hope it help. Why people don't know this ?. It amaze me . You don't need to wait for a better store. Just go and buy usa or europe cards and create accounts for them and you will get anything from the psn stores..

though i'm an Asia guy, i still using NA store, this had better support compare to AS store, beside getting pre paid card for NA store isn't difficult, and not just me, i know alot of my friends like me too

but if in future they support more for AS store i hope sony can allow us to switch store (i don't want to loose my trophy collection and creat the new account)

Same here. In ps3 My main account doesn't have a store. So i created USA and Europe accounts for stores. So i didn't have problems But now in vita i only can use one account. So i can't use my main account. The other two accounts doesn't have friends in them and i feel sad when i play in vita because i can't play with anyone . All of these problems and more because of the stores -.-

Sony starting to limit their products and i feel like the ps4 will do some new limitations too :(

I had the exact same problem, my country was 3-4 years late to have a store so I didn't even bother getting an account from my own country, then we had the store, afterwards Sony stopped accepting my Credit card on the US store so I now purchase content from my country store, but all my friends and trophies are in US PSN account. On vita, I can only use one and they made it extra, extra hard to switch accounts. (Vita reset to factory, format mem card or use another one). I have to leave the US account, all the trophies and friend list behind now. (I can't completely get rid of it as there is about 35-40 psn titles bought from the US.)

I hope they don't do a stupid move with the PS4.

You should go back to the us account and instead of buying from credit card use it to buy pre paid cards from the websites i mentioned above. They have taxes though..

You are lucky that the main account is usa. My main account doesn't have store at all so i have to abandone it completely in vita. :(

It's a bit late for me, as I bought a PSN plus subscription in my country account. :\ I have bought a few pre-paid cards both for my UK account and US account, but the instant credit transfer from the credit card won over the dependence on those websites, at least in my case.

Sony should indeed provide an account migration option, but that might prove difficult because of legal restrictions (not all contents are allowed in different regions).

But I know several forum threads, people who actually move between countries and they have these problems with having to use other PSN stores (and run into more problems because DLC is regions specific), so an account migration tool, even for a fee, would really help a lot of people.

That said, it is too late for me, I already bought psn plus membership on my deserted account (no trophies, no friends) simply because Vita is tied to a single account, and it is easier to purchase as my CC is not accepted elsewhere. I need to slowly start using that account, leaving everything behind, trophies and such..

Give Sony time they are trying their best, they seem to be restructuring the whole company. They also seem to be focusing alot on playstation and trying to capture more of the market which is a good thing for us gamers and also them.
