1998 was a year many of us “older” gamers hold in immediate memory. That glorious year marked the release of the original Metal Gear Solid, which was one revolution of a title in and of itself. Freshly-announced Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is set to recreate what fans know about the Metal Gear franchise and re-establish how gamers experience video games, much like how MGS did fourteen years ago. Psychology concepts have leaked into gaming for a long time now, but one thing that hasn’t been prominently touched upon is the extensive effects of psychological trauma. Characters in the Metal Gear series have always demonstrated the mental fallout of said trauma, but I believe Hideo Kojima is preparing to deliver a novel experience in a series that’s seen almost everything.
Hideo Kojima is widely known as a video games auteur, but what are his best games outside the Metal Gear franchise?
During the latest episode of HideoTube, Kojima talked a bit about Physint and the other projects he's currently working on.
That is a fantastic interview. Physint is a love letter to the fans. What a legend.
I'm guessing OD will also be coming to PlayStation, as the trailer states for all players lol
I really really miss MSG. For me its not a PS gen if there is no MSG. So this news is a God send for me.
Death Stranding 2’s ship will be a core mechanic in the new PS5 game, as Hideo Kojima reveals key details during a fresh HideoTube episode.
The most impressive and memorable boss fight in gaming history! Can't wait to play MGS5!
Yeah, my dad beat Psycho Mantis, because at that time I was too young to play difficult games. LOL :D
This is all a dream sequence in which Snake is beginning to regain his memory. These are fragments of his past we are seeing.
how do we know thats Psycho Mantis it could be a new character
I can agree with most of this theory but it must be remembered that Big Boss was never against 'America' only the patriots that control everything from behind the scenes.
