Cheaters & hackers have been causing grief on Battlefield 1, Hardline & BF4 servers, with nonstop DDoS attacks among other things. Unfortunately, EA has remained silent about it.
Not even if they paid me.. EA always do this with old games with less money potential, if this was Ultimate Team, they'd address and sort it faster than stories could spread. Why invest time in their products when they will just dump it in the following years? Then again EA never could see the forest for the trees.
I imagine after those games were given out for free a couple months back through Amazon, anything that makes people go to 2042 is a plus for them
Nah. I think they can't do anything about it or they want to sink money into fixing it.
EA owns all BF servers so yes, they can do something about it but they refuse to because they dont want ppl playing their old games instead of the new one. Its EA we’re talking about here
if this happened in 2042, they'd have something to say. which is weird, considering battlefield 1 has more players on steam right now.
Its so obvious that EA is doing this or hired ppl to mess up the games so that we’d be forced to have just 1 Battlefield working.
Honestly it’s probably the devs themselves. They did an update to bf4 way back that kinda made assault rifles doo doo in hopes that people would flock to BF1 cuz BF4 was too perfect

A recommendation I have is a work in progress preview title called Anacrusis. It's a lot of fun, and has a cool aesthetic.

The 17 min of gameplay on pcgamer looked fantastic...but nothing we havent seen or played through before, just a prettier presentation still crappy writing (daylight streaming through window and guy has to look out window to say its "daytime already?") its petty I know but come on....And WHEN will they remove the f'ing training wheels in regards to the stupid f'ing aiming reticule and glowy enemy markers? My god, nothing ruins the almost photorealistic gameplay and immersion like this crap! Its a gaming mechanic from the f'ing 70's for christ sake. How about developing some actual SKILL as a player instead by LEARNING the weapons characteristics!? Aiming reticule!? Blow me. Is it going to be another gen of same shit, dif pile? Looks like it so far as this gen is already pissing me off with "been there done that" ancient mechanics and no apparent innovations. "but it looks pretty" they'll say; I say so what? Stop spoon feeding us this generic shit please, but apparently game devs are too stupid, or lazy, or scared to take a chance and innovate.

As long as it innovates or tries something new. Military shooters are what made the FPS genre a borefest in the first place, so hopefully next-gen isn't just better graphics.
Sea maps would be amazing, and I'm not even a fan of the Battlefield series (although I do see its appeal in MP....).
As long as my computer can run it looking like the 17 minute footage, I'll be happy. If I feel like getting emotional & philosophical through brilliant storytelling & impeccable pacing, there's Bioshock One & Infinite; sorry Bioshock 2.
If it does not have submarines in it, I will not buy.
