I just watched the trailer and I can't see what's wrong with it...Do the lyrics not tie into the theme/gameplay of Battlefield? Do the potential players of this game feel that their masculinity is challenged because they listened to a Rihanna hook during a preview of their favorite title?

The themes seem to follow the era of the game so I doubt we will get a 1942/43 style them without going back to WWII. Personally I would prefer something a bit more metal for modern BF titles:

Nostalgia at it's funniest. First of all the theme song has not changed...it's the same rhythm. The hip-hop approach is strictly for commercial use...it makes the game seem more appealing to the biggest audience in America...the commercials for the game in EU are much different actually. Either way though the only developer that will keep it's advertisements with the same flow of music if Blizzard because they aren't going for new comers...they just want their current users to buy the next one.

Minus the misplaced hubbub over the music, the trailer looks great. Lots of exploding bits and things getting destroyed. Looks like they're eschewing big army vs big army and it looks like a more intimate story. Of course, I could be wrong.

The thing is when I see a new trailer like battle field 4 I'm expecting the bf jingle or a variant of it. So when I first hit play to watch the vid I thought the person who posted the video edited it with rihanas song. So I immediately stopped it and looked for another vid of the trailer and loe and behold rihanas song came on. The song made me think that dice is turning battlefield into something else.

Yeah even music can turn heads. Its a good song just don't belong in bf4 maybe it belongs in twighlight. I still like the game but I hope dice doesn't do drastic stupid changes.

Every post seems to be jumping on the bandwagon and bashing or praising the trailer for the same reason.
