Ubisoft leaks the price of PS4 game

Chazz from PSNation has done some digging and hidden in a webpage for a UPlay exclusive edition for the new Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag. Which will be coming out on all current and next gen platforms but he just found out the price for the game.

Looks like one third party publisher isn't changing their price.

Fact is games sell slower at $60 price point than $50. So noone really chances more than that just yet its to early to think about trying it.

People that buy Season pass DLC as soon as they buy the game are the ones promoting them selling games at $100+ bucks. Solution is simple if they do push higher prices. Don't buy DLC.

All 3 nextgen consoles will have the same graphics,but ps4 and 720 are charging u for a hard drive and bluray player as well as the console,i personally prefer to just add anything up to a 3TB hard drive of any make to my console u can shop around and get a fair price unlike ps4 ect as we dont know if 720 will do the same again ? ur over paying for a 256GB hard drive that simply isnt enough with games around 24GB ? that's about 10 games not good enough a cheaper console without it is the way to go.

well yeah,but then it comes the microtransactions,then the season pass,some paid skins ,weapons that should had been in the game from the start,even shorter games,dlc,then after all of these you realize that you paid a lot more for the game,You will come and say that you're not forced to pay for them,but then again you know you will,because it will feel that something is missing from the game,or you really want that skin or weapon,the price maybe won;t change,but everything else in the games will

Only the source code says the price for the PS4 version. This could be because they're not officially allowed to reveal the price for the PS4 version of the game, perhaps. Nonetheless, this is great news as it shows there won't be a price hike for next gen video games.

£40 - £45 seems to be the limit that people are willing to pay for games, and rightly so. Its expensive.

This is why I dont mind DLC as long as theres enough content in the original game (which there almost always has been for games I've purchased).

Let people buy DLC and micro DLC if they want it, so that the prices stay where they are.

Not sure why ppl think they should suddenly pay more just because the game has a PS4 label. While the games will/should be always better than the PS3 could offer it won't be anything new to PC gamers and they pay less not more for the better quality!

wiiu on the other hand is much better u can add anything up to 3TB of any make or model,ive seen 1TB HDD for £70 ? ps4 shouldn't of included a HDD that u will need to upgrade after 10 games ?

I was paying more for games back in the day(Atari,Intellivision,Coleco vison)then they charge now.The only thing that bothers me a bit is the fact I play mostly single player,but have to pay full price.If gaming goes the way of banning used games I hope one does not have to pay full price if they don't play mulitplayer.

We might only pay $60 for the vanilla game, but how much will we be paying for DLC next gen? I can't seem to shake the feeling that DLC and microtransactions are the area where we are going to feel the pain, but really hope that I am wrong.
