Atelier Totori Plus: The Adventurer of Arland is Coming to the PlayStation Vita Today, Costs $39.99

Well this is a bit of a surprise. Coming almost out of nowhere – the Australian Ratings Board rated it last month and PEGI rated it yesterday – Atelier Totori Plus: The Adventurer of Arland is releasing for the PlayStation Vita today when the PlayStation Store updates.

You should try Gravity Rush though and replay Person 4: The Golden when you get your Vita. ^^

I hope so! I heard there's some kind of cross game data sharing or something like that for the Vita versions :D

Gravity Rush looks great :) I just couldn't justify myself getting a Vita for it since there wasn't much else that interested me...

Muramasa Rebirth looks good, I never finished the Wii version so I probably will get that at some point.

Well naturally I haven't played that yet, but as it stands what Ive seen so far is nothing worth "me" getting excited for buying a Vita over, the idea is for the devs and pubs to sell you their game so until I get some hands on Im not getting on the hype train or sampling any PR BS.

If the game ends up being good I'll tell the devs, not the other way around.

I do agree with you, but being that it's so niche would marketing have helped? Those who actually care would have followed the release schedule IMO.

Can't find anything about it on Tecmo's site...not even about the downloadable version. I was hoping it would come to the US...but would much prefer a physical copy.

Hard to say, since release dates are usually known well in advance, and this was all pretty sudden.

I am disappointed in how Tecmo Koei is handling this series now that they have the publishing rights for it. Kinda wish NISA was still the ones to publish the game cause they would never pull off something like this & give the game & series the attention it needs & deserves.

Nothing on the PSblog from Tecmo Koei on this or Atelier Ayesha for that matters. They better not complain about sales when all things are said & done. The Atelier series has been around for years & although it is not an extremely popular series it does has its fanbase. To treat it like it is nothing is a shame & disrespectful for the series & its fans.

Nothing at all about the game on their official site either. I'm even signed up for their newsletter and I didn't get anything about it. I really like the atelier games, and wanted it for my Vita, but would prefer a physical copy.

I generally like Tecmo, but NIS is my favorite publisher. They give their localizations love, and they love their customers and treat them well.

Going to get this soon as it is almost confirmed to be download only and I want to support this series. Maybe TK will do a better release next time.

There is a $10 for $50 offer currently on PSN. This game + Chrono Trigger is $49.98. I hope its still eligible for the offer.
