RGN writes, "With CD Projekt Red’s recent announcement that Cyberpunk 2077 will feature multiplayer there is some talk about the possibility of The Witcher 3 receiving multiplayer features as well. We have seen disastrous results when some single player titles add multiplayer. We’ve also seen some across the board good implementations as well as mediocre ones. With not much to go on, gamers are struggling to gather themselves and define the pros and cons amongst each other for the title receiving multiplayer elements of any kind versus remaining a purely single player experience."
Given the medium's wild diversity, this primer of the essential video games everyone should try is a good place to start.
I can't fk with this list. They missed on alot of games probably before the writers times. Also I know people loved some portal but I was never a fan.
Tomb Raider 1
Driver 1
Abe’s Odyssey
FF6
King of Fighters 94
Mortal Kombat OG
LINK 2 the past
Street Fighter 2
Resident Evil 1
Infinite but not the first two games? Witcher 3 but not the first two games?? GTA V but not literally any of the games before it??? Portal 2 but not the first? Also if you're going to play Shadow of The Colossus play the remaster and not the remake. Can't say I disagree with the list but my man it's all over the place.
Awesome list! Hot take on Fear (and it's hard af expansion Persaus Mandate!) Bioshock Infinite is stellar, so is the Witcher 3 and you nailed it by having Ocarina of Time. So many fantastic games! Gotta play 'em all! Next one on my list is Prey after I beat Dead Space 2 and Splinter Cell Conviction.
Wealth of Geeks explores some of the best gaming romances that have stolen our hearts over the years.
Daman Shelley from NoobFeed writes - Dragon's Dogma is truly a one-of-a-kind game, and there really is no other game like it, but there are a few that come close. Whether with their fantasy settings, the ability to climb mountains, or just with the overall same charm as Capcom’s iconic RPG. Here's a list of games that will hopefully scratch that Dragon's Dogma itch.
I can still hear the title screen music in my head after nearly 12 years. Loved every minute of it.
I have no issues filling my time til DD2.
Granblue Fantasy: Relink, Infinite Wealth and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will probably me more than enough.
More terrified I won't be done in time.
Try not to burn yourself out before the game releases. This is going to be a long and immersive RPG like the first one.
The games in this article are all great and I believe the people who are excited for Dragons Dogma 2 probably already played most of those games.
For now, I recommend you prepare yourself for long play sessions if you will be picking up Dragons Dogma at launch.
I think it could be a good idea but well see Mass Effect 3 is an RPG and had a good MP mode so
really good post. i might consider buying the game and trying it out. thank you
I'm not sure I like the idea of such a vast speculation on something so unconfirmed, but I think more credit needs to be given for at least an attempt at a variety of on-line content and playing.
I would love to see some more adventurous game play in newer titles, and it can introduce an aspect of freshness if you've been playing single-player modes for a while.
Why can't we have purely single player games anymore?
Multiplayer would put a game like this in MMORPG territory...
