SimCity Users Complain Of Broken Traffic AI And Fake Sims Populations

Many SimCity users are starting to complain about poor Traffic AI and claiming that Electronic Arts may have lied about the theoretical Sim population sizes.

It's sad to see such a great franchise become this. I guess I will be sticking to SimCity 4.

This is happening alot to old franchises this gen

Most are ruined.....however the ones which are actually good games like Tomb Raider or Max Payne 3 end up not feeling like their past installments and what the franchise is about....basicaly they could be renamed and you wouldn't even know.

So in the end you either have an old ruined franchise like dmc, FF13, RE6 or have a good game but not one that lives up to the franchises name.

I agree with RE6, but I wouldn't say DMC was ruined. Yeah, the plot is a little flat, but the combat is pretty tight. Overall, very enjoyable game. Definitely a good start if they want to keep moving the series along.

See I disagree highly there, it's such a dumbed down, inferior game compared to past dmc titles and the awful plot, the horrible characters and their designs drags the game down even more.

The combat has nothing over past games especially when in this game you can get an S rank by mashing the same buttons over and over again....without skill it's not really dmc is it.

I'm with you on DMC root... completely ruined and I've only played the originals a couple times (as in really no experience with them at all). Character redesigns are taboo in my book... unless it's for the better then I retract my statement but in DMC case.... Nooooooooooooooo.

Maxis is another company that went down the drain.

Will Wright was the main direction for Maxis. He left in 2011 for a new studio. So Maxis shifted to EA for direction.

Seriously though, it is sad that this is happening. Wouldn't likely have been noticed or noticed as quickly if not for the sever/launch issue.

LOL common who thought EA would really take the time and spend the money to make a real city simulation? Even if they have the talented people they will not be let to do their job because the suits are all for the quick buck and minimizing expenses. The sad part is they do have the talent because they bought them just to put them off the market, but even so, letting them to make a great game would not fit into the upstairs vision of making fast easy money. EA is the worst gaming company period.

This is dirty business. EA should be sued for shit like this. I dont care for this game, but this kind of crap should not happen.
