The female Pikmin leader reminds me of that Mii who gives you how to messages on Swapnote.

wow, i honestly didnt expect to get this game untill May at the earliest, sweet

Erimgard4065d ago

Uh, Pikmin is not March/April. It's "Quarter 2"

Erimgard4065d ago

I'm saying it's officially listed as being a quarter 2 release, and that's it. Nintendo hasn't given it a release date. It could be any time from April-June.

looking good!

i always believed that the Wii U would be a great platform for strategy games, especially with the gamepad. now, i only hope 3rd parties also believe that. perhaps they're looking into the success of pikmin 3 and see if it's really that good.

things keep sounding like ive dreamt . ants eye view pikmin game . 1st it is announced that we will be able to snap pics of the monsters, and they look to be face to face with the player . now it has been stated that pikmin 3 will go "deeper than before" = my dream was to be able to look around in 1st person with the gamepad while playing pikmin, just like google street view . . these pikmin games have always been in at a birds eye perspective . and to be able to look around the land for items in 1st person = ants eye view!! . . game changing, soul grabbing stuff!

I think it's better to leave games like AC: Amiibo Festival and Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash forgotten on the Wii U. Best case, they are mediocre games; worse case, they are very bad. It was a dark time for the Wii U, and the first only exists to sell Amiibo cards, whereas the second was put together in a couple of months with a shoestring budget, and it shows.

The rest of the list does have some really cool games, though. I would love to see a remake of Star Fox Zero with decent controls, and Xenoblade X doesn't require that much modification to work.

How would XCX work without dual screens functionality?

Cacabunga2d ago

Same as Paper Mario color splash. One of the best wiiu games and getting even better with dual screen. Same reason why i prefer Splatoon 1

This article leaves out Nintendo's most controversial game to date devils Third.
I personally found the cover system really fun in that one compared to at the time most fps games completely lacking one.

Stevonidas2d ago

Devil's Third is HIGHLY underrated.

They should remake Starfox to the switch 2. Very beautiful game during gamecube days.

Kirby is always ignored or forgotten by people, so good to see it mentioned here.
Play Kirby Canvas Curse on DS, and then play Rainbow Curse on Wii U, they're really fun and unique 'platformers' without any actual jumping.
