leave the funny stuff to Zero Punctuation Jimmy

and fake French accent sounds Spanish

He's being satirical, David Cage is always talking out of his arse and especially during the Sony conference in regards to "emotions" I don't know about you but I think games have been plenty emotional over the years without the need to convey them through high poligonal character models, It's a nice inclusion now the tech can allow for it but it is in no way integral to gaming.

I think the poor French impression was part of the gag though...

"He's being satirical"

and failing, funny is not what Jimmy is good at, only melodrama.

as for emotion, take games like Skyrim and ME that have lots of NPC's the games would be even more immersive if they felt more real.

@newmonday

You're fighting Dragons and yelling "fu ro dah" there's only so much emersion you can have in such a fantastical setting.

I agree that more realistic facial animations would help, but so would better voice acting, less glitches, lag and the like.

I never hear devs talk about preventing glitches, other bugs and reducing lag.

meant that just an example of game where you interact face to face with many NPS's, Deus Ex, the Witcher are the same. Witcher2 was the best of them, the characters were very well designed and had personality a little better animation and they become more fantastic. this is one area where games need to advance, a few years from now it will be hard to look at the animations of this ending generation.
