Handheld consoles have taken a beating in the last year. While PlayStation’s Vita does supply a spectacular gaming experience in the palm of your hand, the platform just hasn’t had enough games on offer. The newly announced PlayStation 4 is aiming to make that a moot point.
It seems it was long time ago. A bunch of friends spending hours on end playing RPG games, sitting around the table with the box of cold pizza. Excited about the story, listening to the Game Master, they were completely engaged in the worlds only visible to them and their imaginations.
The GM is the programmer, and in MMOs and co-ops, you can play with others. If you want to ONLY use your imagination for the visuals, read a book.
Scrawl: "Looks like we know how that new Compile Heart countdown is going to end. The latest issue of Famitsu has confirmed that Agarest Senki 2, known as Record of Agarest War 2 in the US, is Compile Heart’s newest title."
1) Hope they put it on disc this time.
2) Hope this is a positive for Neptune coming over as well.
Is this a half decent SRPG, porn aside, cause if it is, i might just decide to go and buy it for the 360.
This is not the first time that Bless Online receives a server merge in Korea. An announcement was made on the official Korean site.
Bless must be an amazing game to be on all these platforms (according to the tags): iPad iPhone Nintendo DS PC PS Vita PS2 PS3 PS4 PSP Wii Wii U Xbox Xbox 360 Xbox One
I think more key software is what will save the PSV, that said its functionality with the PS4 is definitely a move in the right direction.
Day one of PS4 launch, the PSV must be able to start remote playing the entire OS, this is important. All apps that come with the PS4 must be remote compatible with the PSV too (if it is possible to so do).
Additionally, gaikai could be very useful on the PSV.
But, I think that the PSV needs to serve as a secondary control device for the PS4. if all PS4 games are required to have PSV controller mapping for remote play, then make the PSV also function as a controller... these sort of things will help make the PSV be viable in connection with the PS4 and Sony cant skimp out on it... do it, have it ready at launch.
that said, cant wait. Love my psv, and i am sure the ps4 is going to rock.
Completely agree. Immediate functionality and accessibility is a must from launch if the PS Vita is going to thrive in conjunction with the PS4.
totally agree, right now, i'm still buying and playing awesome games for my psp(getting them dirt cheap too), the vita is in its infancy, as long as sony support it, which they will, and the amazing, deep rpg's come out, the nerds like me will come in droves
it needs a few more srpgs, traditional jrpgs, a few action rpgs, a couple games like monster hunter, add in some ratchet and clanks, a new jak game, maybe something like an onimusha collection
people will be all over the vita soon
the memory cards are way too expensive right now, once you can get a vita for $199 with a 16gb memory card and there a 5 or 6 must have titles, I'll be all about it!
right now i still have over 40 unfinished, awesome psp games, i can wait!
Gravity Rush is the only title any Vita owner must have. I still keep going back for more.
No. Only Vita games can save the Vita.
