"We just can't seem to get enough next gen console speculation at the moment, with countless websites throwing out wish-lists for Sony and Microsoft's upcoming hardware efforts."
Games Asylum: "Well, this is neat. As the name suggests, Wrath of the Mutants is the rarest of things – a genuine arcade conversion. With most modern arcade games being ticket redemption machines, this is something seldom seen. In fact, the last arcade conversion we can recall was Raw Thrill’s own Cruis’n’ Blast on Switch back in 2021. This is also based on an older iteration of TMNT, harking back to the series from 2012-2017. It’s essentially breaking franchise continuity (we’ve had two different iterations of the Turtles since) and could even be considered nostalgic for a select few – those who grew up with 2012’s Turtles are probably in their late teens."
Year 9 in Rainbow Six Siege brings Deimos, ACOG sights with new grips, and an interesting roadmap for the upcoming seasons.
Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is a love letter for all Suikoden fans; it embraces the classic essence and doesn't succumb to modernity.
The fact that Microsoft have been quiet for so long is starting to get me worried about all of these rumors. It could mean that these rumors are true for MS and if they are, Sony can win it.
I understand the companies blocking used games (I don't like it, but I understand), my concern is the reliability of the consoles and if they start failing like this gen what would I do to now with all the games.
Imagine of the 360 and ps3 blocked used games.
(Rumor only) i think Gears will go mp this gen. i think Epic likes the new PS4 spec. this is a perfect time for Epic to reach COD status "Sales wise" Only!
If blocking used games, and always having to be online are actual features of the new Xbox...Sony will win this. However, this doesn't mean the new Xbox won't sell well.
Sony already debunked 3 of those rumors.
They said used games would be allowed in an interview.
Sony said you can play games offline with no internet connections.
Sony said games would be 60$. So EA can't price games at 70$ originally, unless they were limited editions, which they were already pricing at 70$ for the first print (for example, Need for Speed Hot pursuit 2010 was 69.99$ at launch, which quickly went down once limited edition was out of there)
Also, I am pretty sure digital video recording and live streaming (1st and 2nd rumor) are already confirmed to be features on PS4.
