3DS and ps3 quite close. No major downs for the ps3, 360 and 3ds. Shame about the 8% wii u slump but I havnt seen any advert per here in the uk or any major announcements yet.

True. Nice to see the Vita up 12%, seems people are finally moving away from the PSP and to the Vita, which has to be good news - at least the 3DS might get a litle bit of competition!

And this is before the Japanese price drop hows an effect too, so bodes well for next week :)

MGR PS3 sales - wowzer! :O

The problem with the WIIU it is somewhat of a gimmick but NOT so much compared to the original WII. Its gonna take a alot more than a simple advertisement to showcase all the features.

Six year old hardware with massive software libraries vs. four month old console with new games coming out only in its FIFTH month.

Context.

auragenz4071d ago

For a moment there, I though you were describing the Wii U. Then I read the part about "with massive software libraries".

PopRocks3594071d ago (Edited 4071d ago )

@auragenz

The Wii U is not six years old; it just came out. How could you have possibly mistaken my comment in that context?

The 360 and PS3 are both over half a decade old and their software libraries are very sizable. The Wii U has had a fraction of that time in the market, has been proven to be stronger than the 360/PS3 (look up Criterion's Need For Speed U port) and is only in the month of March gaining new content.

So no kidding the Wii U sales are slow. Why people are incapable of understanding the concept of cause and effect is mind boggling.

auragenz4071d ago

The Wii U didn't just come out. It's been out awhile. Do you know they updated it to HD now?

ironmonkey4071d ago

Ps3 still entertains me and the graphics still feels fresh.

Wow looks like Dead Space 3 is kinda tanking.

Donnieboi4070d ago (Edited 4070d ago )

Shoulda stayed scary. Plus micro-transactions are a huge turn-off.

Infinite Space: The Story Of A Forgotten Space Opera And Sega's Negligence

Space opera fans deserve a chance to experience the vastness of Infinite Space, and Sega needs to make up for its mistake.

I still go back to Infinite Space from time to time. Probably the most underrated game I ever played.

Sixty Four review - ChristCenteredGamer

CCG writes - "If you enjoy games like Factorio, Sixty Four is worth checking out. The asking price of $5.99 is very reasonable. On the title screen you can import/export your Base64 encrypted save file. This is handy to know if you want to make any edits. Otherwise you can enjoy picking up where you left off with the Steam cloud support."
