Speculations and rumours surrounding Assassin’s Creed 4 have been sweeping the web – but not everyone shares the sense of excitement. Former Assassin’s Creed enthusiast Mark Butler explains why his love for the serious has now been replaced by weary boredom.
Behind XDefiant's toxic work culture, crunch, delays, and a group of directors and managers internally referred to as 'The Boys Club'.

This game will be tossed out broken unplolished with a bloated budget trying to be cod but will fail sense ubi can get there shit in order. If i was me i would have gotten rid of this boys club asap there is alot looking for work out there.
Every industry has these issues
Some companies I’ve worked for were great and some were toxic as hell (UPS when I was a teenager was extremely toxic and I have heard it still is) It all starts at the top. They either hold people accountable , set standards and treat people with respect or the crap rolls downhill.
BY JASON MONROE: The very best pirate-themed video games that you should play instead of the disappointment that is Skull and Bones.
PoE: Deadfire, Unless you have a or PS5 or an SSD don't bother, loading times are insane. A minute and a half to go into a room to investigate a desk in an inn and then an additional 1 1/2 minutes to leave the room and then load to leave the inn???
And they never fixed it.
Skull and Bones surprises with second-highest player engagement in Ubisoft's history, marking an unexpected success story.
Funny how all the clickhate was trying to spin that it was "struggling" to reach these very numbers.
Good thing I stopped at AC2. I knew it was going to gt milked when I saw and played Brotherhood.
Its sad but I used to be a huge ac fan good thing I didnt buy ac3,although someone got it for me on discount, yet im so tired of this series that I havnt played it yet, ubisoft where the heck is prince of Persia and beyond good and evil.
Brotherhood was the last great AC in my opinion. Every else after that has been underwhelming.
All I want from my AC games is a great historical setting and awesome gameplay.
IMHO, the each new game has bee much better than the prior one in both of those respects, so I'm very much looking forward to seeing AC4.
Granted, I think the whole yearly-release thing has resulted in a string of half-finished products, but until AC3, each game has felt very much like a complete package.
Assassin's Creed is a great franchise but I think they should release it every 2 years rather than every year. With Watchdog set to become a great new IP, I surely hope this is the case going forward to allow more development time for AC.
