Terrible timing. I'd prefer it if it started at 3 in the morning and ended at 4 in the evening. Then I wouldn't even notice the downtime. Who plays in the morning? We have jobs, SONY.

your 3 in the morning may be somebody else 9 in the morning or longer dont forget time zones buddy...also some of these have to be fake.....most of the time i can still go to the store and sign out and back in to play online

From 4 P.M. to 3 A.M.? I do not envy your job then! I'll be working all day, however I'll be working from 6.A.M. to 4 P.M. and enjoy unwinding at night playing a bit of BF3.

I understand time zones, I would imagine the network would be different for different regions, but maybe not. As far as the Americas are concerned, no matter what time zone you are in, that's a stupid time to take down the network.

The Network is free to use ok? you get that? There is no other network that allows you to play online for free.

They probably have to take it down cause it gets too costly for them and that's understandable. Besides most of us Playstation gamers dont play online, we have our exclusives. I am still playing Uncharted its so amazing.

Well actually it's free to play online on pc and it's also free on the Wii. You only have to pay on the 360 as far as I know

Who cares about Wii online and as for PC online gaming its just too serious too much teamwork. PSN is just the best and its the only one truly free, who cares if its down most of us dont go online anyways.

Please link me to the last time XBL was shut down for 11 hour. XBL doen't schedule downtime, when shit hits the fan, XBL is down for like an hour at most. It's a goo thing when these are news articles. If someone planned on playing, now they know why they wont be able to connect instead of expecting to play their favorite game online, only to find out they can't connect and have no idea why.
