Nvidia Chief Executive Officer Jen-Hsun Huang figures that players have already left the living room.
NVIDIA recently announced their "first living room entertainment device" and "world's first Android TV console", the SHIELD. AUTOMATON's Matthew Coslett provides his views on the new system and what we can expect.
Forbes - SHIELD, the dedicated Android gaming handheld from NVIDIA, launches tomorrow in the United States and Canada, and it packs some sophisticated streaming features inside its Tegra 4-powered shell. If the concept of enjoying controller-friendly Android games and your library of Steam Big Picture games while lounging on the couch or in bed sounds appealing, read on.
The shield is getting some really good reviews actually and is looking like a nice piece of hardware.
Give it one or two generations of new Tegra chips and this thing will be a beast.
Only problem is internet because going to a restaurant witg free wifi just to game lol,but definitly going to buy one.
Maximum PC: As you might expect, Nvidia had a major presence at E3. If you haven't done so already, be sure to check out some of Nvidia's E3 highlights and declaration on the state of PC gaming, which is filled with a bunch of tech demos, including The Witcher 3 and Warframe. In addition to showcasing what game developers are up to, Nvidia talked about Grid, Shield, and a PVR feature it's baking into GeForce Experience.
jokes on you Huang
we never were in the living room
it's called a basement (or a full option home theater :p)

More like sour, nVidia shield is probably gonna bomb.
And none of the 3 console manufacturers went with nVidia this time around.
Simply because they sell overpriced stuff and/or other reasons.
AMD won big time in this aspect and from the looks of it they are delivering the goods.
Home console gaming is here to stay, when one generation ends the next generation of gamers enters the scene.
Yeah, well AMD say "hello" from my living room. ha ha.
AMD sais hello from me and sais hello from my Coolermaster H.A.F. X
Tressfx and yes its good for my hair too.
