peoples whine about on-disc dlcs.....but they still purchase a "pass" to simply access the online aspect of a game....WHEN ITS ALSO ALREADY ON THE DISC.

kinda ridiculous eh?

what? you dont pay for xbox live? then dont you fckn dare to enjoy 100% of a product already own.....

Lvl_up_gamer4072d ago (Edited 4072d ago )

What makes you think I pay for XBL so that I can play online?

I pay for XBL because I like all the features it has to offer me vs. what the competition offers me for free.

Being able to play online with my XBL gold membership is just a free bonus.

Good_Guy_Jamal4072d ago

You're a minority on that one bro. If it wasn't for the superior multiplayer features (including multiplayer) I would not pay for xbox live. Entertainment features be damned.

matrixman924072d ago

i will gladly pay for the subscription for party chat and cross game chat

stage884072d ago

Wait, so you like paying to access the other stuff like Netflix? Whaaa?

Gamer-Z4072d ago (Edited 4072d ago )

The only thing live offers is more chat options and the ability to play your games online that's it everything else you can do for free on any other devise or console.

StrongMan4072d ago

Whoa, whoa, whoa. Let me get this straight. You pay for XBL to use Facebook, Twitter, and Youtube? Wow.

"Being able to play online with my XBL gold membership is just a free bonus"

Wow. You have to pay MS to play the multi player portion of your games and you spin it as "just a free bonus"? Wow, just.....wow

dantesparda4071d ago (Edited 4071d ago )

Paying to play online and unlock the other half of your game, what a pack of suckers!

I dont care if its 3 cents a month, it should be free, its a ripoff, PERIOD!!! and you stupid chumps are paying for it

I swear I've heard this once or twice on this site before.

Mottsy4072d ago

Amen Jesus! Ya seems alot of people are very concerned about what other people do with their own hard earned money. To each his/her own gals and fellas. Its been years since xbox has been charging for this service. If the consumers still want to pay for it then get over it, has little to no affect on you.

ArmrdChaos4072d ago

You mean your not pulling in your Digital Stations off an antenna? I hear it is free.

$35 bucks is like 3 bucks a month, it is not a big deal as all it takes is one less beer or one less Starbuck coffe per month and you will be OK. It is not like you have to reserve to Ramen Noodle and tap water to play on Live.

PeaSFor4072d ago

i could also take a dump on your head for 2$ per months, its cheap so if we follow your logic you have no reason to be against it eh?

PeaSFor4072d ago

all i see is you being confused about your own ridiculous logic.

Jek_Porkins4072d ago (Edited 4072d ago )

$35 is just outrageous, oh whatever shall we do?!?
I've never paid more than $35 for a year of Xbox Live, wish I could get these types of deal with my phone service or cable provider...lol

I think people are just mad that gamers actually enjoy a service like Xbox Live enough to keep paying for it, it actually increased by 15% this year, which is huge. Too bad I already bought two of these cards earlier in the year when they were only $29.99, but they only let you enter one at a time.....

StrawberryDiesel4204071d ago

No, I'm mad that I pay for my fucking internet and cable bill so I can access the internet and then I have to pay more so I can play a game I already payed for online when I already pay for online and cable! Most children who don't pay their own bills and only pay for Live and games won't understand this concept unfortunately.

Jek_Porkins4071d ago (Edited 4071d ago )

I'm not a child, I pay the bill just like all my other bills. I mean I have a $5 a month checking account fee that is more than my Xbox Live bill per month.

Also, I can get television for free, but I choose to pay for premium services. It'd be like complaining about paying extra for HBO when you already pay for normal cable. Premium is premium and if you don't like it, don't buy it, there are alternatives.

amiga-man4072d ago (Edited 4072d ago )

Paying to use their internet and they think its a good deal, all those saying it's for cross game chat wake up everyone else including microsoft know if they gave free internet access (as it should be) subscriptions would take a huge hit, M$ has them by the balls and they defend it, mugs the lot of them.

RuleofOne343 4072d ago

I pay my electric & Cable bill to us my internet XBL, Netflix ,Hulu ,amazon prime, Crackle & all other Apps ,features are entertainment offerings which I have no problems paying for. One more thing no one has me by anything, what irks me are those entitleitis.

amiga-man4071d ago

I too pay my electric etc Witwicky and as you point out we both pay our internet provider for our internet access, so why are you paying microsoft exactly for your internet?
Netflix you pay for but again to access it you have to pay M$ who are not your internet provider (cable seems to be yours) if you want to pay for things like netflix etc fine but why exactly do microsoft take your internet away and expect you to pay to get it back and why do you accept it?

Xbox 360 Turns 18: Three Cheers to Live, Halo, and Red Rings

The Xbox 360 launched in North America 18 years ago, and is now officially old enough to buy you a drink in Europe.

darthv72149d ago

Great platform, and many of its games (not bc) still hold up well to this day. Like the PS3, I keep a 360 hooked up for those games you can't play any other way.

isarai149d ago

The last gasp of greatness from XBox, you are missed, except the RROD that was lame, but amazing exclusives until the Kinect dropped.

TheBrainZ149d ago

So many brilliant games. I still have one stored somewhere.

LG_Fox_Brazil149d ago

I really enjoyed my X360, some great exclusives on it. Used to play the shit out ot Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey, two masterpieces
