'Watch Dogs' box art revealed

In the wake of the PlayStation 4 announcement and Ubisoft’s subsequent reveal of its newest IP Watch Dogs, the publisher/developer has now made public the game’s cover design.

Yeah it basically has the same concept. And that's definitely not a bad thing. It's the only crime drama I still watch.

The theme of this and Person of Interest are really interesting because it's relevant to our society and how far some people will take technology.

person of interest reminds me a lot of the new batman films which Jonathan Nolan wrote as well, the character is more or less batman (just named the man in the suit) and finch is a mixture of alfred and morgan freemans character who supplies all his gadgets. it's one of my favourite shows at the moment.

This game is looking excellent by the way.

I can imagine it'll be good on the Wii U, it'll be the 3rd best looking version and the gamepad features could add to the experience of the game.

Like the obvious choice of the touchscreen being the main character's phone making it easier to choose what to hack and giving you the ability to easily switch targets one after the other which is good if multiple enemies are all around you.

So far it looks as though objects are automatically targeted depending on how close you are/where you're facing which could be confusing and irritating if there are multiple objects really close together so having each object in range listed on the gamepad would give you an advantage and make for less stress related controller throwing.

You are correct, I haven't seen anything from Microsoft yet, but I do prefer the Microsoft platforms, even if I do end up with all consoles pretty much every generation.

I suppose if they try and release something at $500 I will pass on it, I have a set price I'm willing to spend for a new console and it tops out at $400.

I have a good feeling that the leaked Microsoft documents were correct and they will have a SKU at $299, or at the least have a subsidized version like they have with the current Xbox.

I do however already own a Wii U, and the Gamepad looks intriguing with Watch Dogs, so I'll keep my eye on it. One thing for sure, it looked good on PC at the Sony conference "unveiling" the PS4.

I forgot you were also Raven_Nomad who loves the Baltimore Ravens. Hats off to them for the win. But they are making a mistake if they are going to give Flacco a max contract. Ray Lewis retired and he is an irreplaceable locker room presence and Ed Reed is on his last leg and will probably retire next year so the defense won't be the same. It will all be on Flacco from now on and he's too inconsistent for a max contract.

I think you put too much stock into winning console generations. I jumped full board into the Dreamcast and I had no regrets, I feel like I was happier in the first couple of years of that console than PS2 owners were with theirs.

There is obviously new competition from a lot of different areas, smartphones and tablets. Sony didn't win the past generation and you still seem to enjoy that console yes?

To me, numbers are for stock people, I play what I want and don't worry about what others think. As long as the things I enjoy sell enough to garner continued support, then I'm a happy camper.

Reed wont be back with the Ravens, Flacco deserves to get paid because once they switched O-coordinator, he really let it fly. Flacco, Rice and Torrey Smith are the next Aikman, Smith and Irvin.

and if done right it could be a MILESTONE in gaming History.

Being a huge fan of GTA and sand box games I can easily say I am hyped for this game...but I don't think it will be better than GTA. This is a open world game but it emphasizes more on action and doing all this hacking stuff than to just free roam and mess around...or at least that's what it seems like. GTA games are always very lively. In GTA 5 you can ride boats, go for a hike in the mountains, go to the beach, play tennis, interact with pedestrians and all types of stuff. I don't think Watchdogs will have all that type of stuff...but I'm not complaining..I'm getting both!

Unfortunately that isn't the way to go anymore. As much as if like it to be, it just isn't. There are so many kids playing games nowadays that a niche boxarr style for any game would put them off. It's a shame really. I could see boxart such as the EU MGS1's working for this game.

I take a glimpse at my shelf an the games with a generic boxart as date are Dark Souls, AC3, BF3, AC3:L, Hitman: Absolution and many more. I wish boxart was good, sure, we do see some great boxart but it is just drowned out by the frequency of poor boxart.

His left arm feels weird. The Perspective of it feels wrong, too big for the body. On top of that, if you can imagine where his elbow is, it will feel like he has a really long left arm. And the look in his eyes makes him look just like another common thug with a gun. I hope they change the boxart to reflect more of what kind of game it really is.
