StickSkills said, "You see, I have the mentality of a 90′s-era PC gamer. Sure, I’ll play some multiplayer once in a while. But the single player experience is the main reason I play video games. The Elder Scrolls and Fallout games really speak to my love of being isolated. Isolation is freedom, and the developers of those games really understand that notion. I don’t like to be bombarded with fourth wall-breaking notifications saying DeathAdder666 has just logged in, and then another notification saying XxButtDestroyerxX wants to join my game. I just want to play my game my way. Is that so hard?"
It seems it was long time ago. A bunch of friends spending hours on end playing RPG games, sitting around the table with the box of cold pizza. Excited about the story, listening to the Game Master, they were completely engaged in the worlds only visible to them and their imaginations.
The GM is the programmer, and in MMOs and co-ops, you can play with others. If you want to ONLY use your imagination for the visuals, read a book.
Scrawl: "Looks like we know how that new Compile Heart countdown is going to end. The latest issue of Famitsu has confirmed that Agarest Senki 2, known as Record of Agarest War 2 in the US, is Compile Heart’s newest title."
1) Hope they put it on disc this time.
2) Hope this is a positive for Neptune coming over as well.
Is this a half decent SRPG, porn aside, cause if it is, i might just decide to go and buy it for the 360.
This is not the first time that Bless Online receives a server merge in Korea. An announcement was made on the official Korean site.
Bless must be an amazing game to be on all these platforms (according to the tags): iPad iPhone Nintendo DS PC PS Vita PS2 PS3 PS4 PSP Wii Wii U Xbox Xbox 360 Xbox One
Sony confirmed that you don't need constant online connection to be able to play on PS4, Yoshida said today "Yes, you can go offline totally. Social is big for us, but we understand there are some people who are anti-social! So if you don't want to connect to anyone else, you can do that ". No need to worry.
I'd imagine that there are ways to opt out of the social connectivity aspect of the console. You're not forced to have Xbox notifications and you're not forced to use Miiverse. Things like these usually come with an "off switch." So don't worry.
Then you can chose not to use those features. Do this many people have social anxiety to the point where a connected interface is causing such a huge problem for some? You dont have to show your face on your profile, upload vids or share your info over the game, or use any of the social features at all if you dont want to.
Its there for the people who like thoe features and use it in their daily lives regularly, like being onFacebook. If its not for you then dont pay attention to it
Exactly. You can be totally offline and still play the console. They said that not too long ago. Get current. No one is forcing you to be social. It is just a feature like everything else. You never have to share anything or have anyone watch you do anything or join any teams.
Then don't.
